It is now an extensive archaeological site with a small modern town of the same name nearby. It is recognised by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in having had a phenomenal influence in the ancient world.

    Delphi Archaeological Museum

Due to a landslide caused by uncontrollable natural factors near Arahova, the road is currently closed, the planned visit to Arahova will be canceled. The authorities have not yet provided a specific date for the reopening of the road. If the road is clear and safe on the day of the tour, the original itinerary will proceed as planned. However, if the road remains closed on the day of the tour, the group will proceed directly to the Delphi Museum instead.

Day 3: Kalambaka - Meteora - Zakynthos (228 km)

Deluxe Hotel: 4-star hotel in Zakynthos or nearby
Breakfast: Included|Lunch: Excluded|Dinner: Excluded
After breakfast, we set off to explore Greece's "Sky City" - Meteora, where we admire the 14th-century monastery complex and witness how six monasteries perch atop towering cliffs. In the afternoon, we head to Kyllini port to take a ferry to Zakynthos Island.

Please note: The opening hours of the six monasteries vary, and we will visit those that are open on the day of our visit. Generally, we will visit two monasteries. There is a strict dress code at the monasteries requiring women to wear skirts. If you do not have a skirt, aprons are available for borrowing at the entrance, so please make sure to borrow one before entering.

Breakfast: Included|Lunch: Excluded|Dinner: Excluded
After breakfast, we head out to explore Navagio Shipwreck. Between steep cliffs, crystal-clear blue waters, and pristine white sands lies an old, rusted ship. In 1983, the Panagiotis, a vessel smuggling cigarettes between Sicily, Italy, and Greece, was wrecked and stranded there. Next, we take a boat to Blue Cave, where nature's artistry has carved out caverns in the cliffs through the erosive power of the sea. Due to light refraction, the water in the caves glows an incredible blue, as clear as sapphire. In the afternoon, you’ll have free time to stroll through Solomos Square in Zakynthos Town.

Please Note: After assessing the risks of landslides and seismic activity, the Greek government has decided to close Navagio Bay for safety reasons. It will not be open to tourists this summer, and landing on the beach will not be possible. However, we can still take a cruise into the bay and take photos from a distance. If the weather is favorable, we will enter the Blue Cave and Navagio Shipwreck Bay by boat. If the weather is unfavorable and sailing is not permitted, we will instead visit the scenic spots in Zakynthos town or participate in other tour activities arranged by the guide based on the actual situation. Please pay attention to the guide’s notice on the day, and thank you for your understanding.
