Day 1: Beijing

When arriving in Beijing, you will be greeted by local representatives at Beijing Capital Airport and then transfer to the hotel. The remainder of the day will be free.

Day 2: Beijing

We will visit Forbidden City, Summer Palace, stop by Tongrentang Chinese Medicine Institute and taste Peking Duck dinner.

    Forbidden City

    For 500 years, the Forbidden City was the palace of the Chinese emperors. It is divided into two sections, the Inner and Outer Courts. The Palace Museum houses many collections of traditional paintings, jade, and ceramics.

    Summer Palace

    The Summer Palace is a complex on the outskirts of Beijing, comprised of multiple palaces, gardens, and lakes. The first palace was built in the 12th century CE under the Jin Dynasty, and many subsequent emperors chose to build additions.

    Tongrentang

    This Chinese based pharmaceutical company, founded in 1669, is the largest producer of traditional Chinese medicine. Its headquarters are located in Beijing.

    Peking Duck Dinner

    Peking Duck is one of the best-known Chinese dishes. The dinner will provide you with an authentic tasting experience of Peking Duck.

Day 3: Beijing

We will visit Great Wall (Juyongguan). Then visit Beijing 2008 Olympic Center including the famous Beijing National Stadium aka Bird's Nest and Water Cube from outside. Lastly, visit one of the largest Jade Exhibitions in Asia enroute and see skilled artisans working at a Cloisonné Factory. Optional Night Tour: Beijing Kung Fu Show.

    Great Wall of China

    Great Wall of China
    Originally comprised of many individual fortification, the Great Wall of China is a series of joined fortifications that spans 13,171 miles (21,196km). Listed as an UNESCO World Heritage Site, the majority of the existing structure dates back to the Ming Dynasty between 1368 and 1644.

    Juyong Pass

    This mountain pass is located in the Changping District of the greater Beijing municipality. This section of the Great Wall of China, called the Cloud Platform, was built in 1342 AD.

    Bird's Nest Stadium

    Built for the 2008 Summer Olympics, the Bird's Nest Stadium continues to be used for major sporting events. It also houses a shopping mall, hotel and restaurants, making it a great destination for sports fans and foodies alike.

    Water Cube

    Built to house the swimming events of the 2008 Summer Olympics, this indoor arena houses massive swimming pools. After the games ended, the building was closed for a short period while part of it was converted to a water park.

    Kung Fu Show

    The fantastic "The Legend of Kung Fu" is presented by China Heaven Creation International Performing Arts Co., Ltd.(CHC), which is China's leading performance art production company. CHC has collected a group of the best Kung Fu practitioners of China and invited the best directors and designers of the country.

    Take a morning tour to Temple of Heaven, recognized by UNESCO, an architectural masterpiece built between 1406-1460 AD.Then visit the famous rickshaw Hutong to see how the locals live. You will have "Zhajiang" Noodle with special Beijing traditional sauce as your lunch.

After breakfast, we will travel to the airport or railway station. Departure from Beijing and head back home or extend your trip to other cities in China.

Confirmation

Redemption

  • You will receive an confirmation email (e-ticket) after your order was received. Complete Operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, are included on your Confirmation Email (e-ticket). When you reserve your attractions and services you will be asked to print e-tickets to present when you arrive at your destination. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.
