One of the most visited tourist spots in all of New England, the Quincy Market building and the surrounding marketplace are a hub of food, fashion, and shops in downtown Boston. Originally constructed in 1825 as an expansion for the outgrown Faneuil Hall building (which still stands and still serves as an indoor market), the modern Quincy Market is a long, rectangular building whose highlight is a food court that attract both local and out-of-town customers.
