Meal: Excluded
After guests have been picked up from the specified departure location, we will begin this tour of Buenos Aires. Our first stop of the day will be the Obelisk, a giant monument that has come to symbolize the city. Then, we will see many of the city's most famous squares: Plaza de Mayo, Plaza San Martin, and Plaza Congreso. We will be able to see the unique architecture of neighborhoods like La Boca, San Telmo, and Monserrat. Then, we will have the opportunity to explore the Ecological Reserve. In Palermo, we will see one of the most elegant neighborhoods of the city, before we make our way to Recoleta. Between neighborhoods, we will enjoy beautiful scenes of nature at places like Lezama Park and Tres Febrero Park. Afterwards, guests will be dropped off downtown to end this tour.     Buenos Aires is the capital and largest city of Argentina. Its center is the Plaza de Mayo, lined with stately 19th-century buildings including Casa Rosada, the iconic, balconied presidential palace.

    Obelisco de Buenos Aires

    The centerpiece of the Plaza de Republica, this obelisk has become a symbolic monument of its home city. The area around it has become a popular nighttime entertainment area, with many nightclubs nearby.

    Plaza de Mayo

    The main square in the Monserrat barrio of Buenos Aires is named for the revolution that began on May 25th, 1810, which eventually led to Argentina's independence from Spain.

    Plaza San Martin

    This large public square in Buenos Aires contains a small, but lovely, park that makes a perfect spot for a picnic. There is a large Ombu tree in the park, as well as the Torre Monument.

    Congressional Plaza

    This large square and public park sits in front of the Argentine Congress. The centerpiece of the park is the Monument of Two Congresses, a large, ornate fountain.

    La Boca

    One of the most famous barrios (neighborhoods) in Buenos Aires, La Boca is filled with brightly colored houses, tango clubs, Italian taverns, and many theaters. Historically, it has been a haven for radical political movements.

    San Telmo

    The oldest of Buenos Aires' barrios, the streets of San Telmo are paved with cobblestone and the buildings have retained their original colonial architecture. Famous for its contemporary art, the city's Modern Art Museum is located in this neighborhood.

    Monserrat

    This neighborhood in Buenos Aires contains some of the city's most famous landmarks, including the city hall, Casa Rosada, and the Ministry of Defense, among others.

    Ecological Reserve

    This wildlife reserve on the outskirts of Buenos Aires. It is a tract of low land on the banks of the River Plate. It is home ot many species of local birds.

    Palermo

    This is the largest barrio in Buenos Aires, home to over 200,000 citizens. It is home to some of the oldest parts of the city. There are many parks and museums in the area.

    Recoleta

    An upscale neighborhood in Buenos Aires, the Recoleta district boasts exquisite architecture and history, and contains several museums and landmarks that detail Argentina's past. The Recoleta Cemetery is a popular stop, particularly the grave site of national hero Eva Peron.

    Lezama Park

    This public park in the San Telmo barrio of Buenos Aires opened around 1904. It contains several monuments for national heroes, a gazebo, and a sculpture garden, among other landmarks.

    Tres Febrero Park

    This urban park covers roughly 400 hectares in the Palermo neighborhood of Buenos Aires. Within its grounds lie the city zoo as well as a traditional Japanese garden.

Confirmation

Terms & Condition

  • Currency Fluctuations: All tour prices are current at the time of publication and are susceptible to currency fluctuations. We reserve the right to alter the tour price in accordance with changes in foreign exchanges rates and changes in prices for services. The rate that you pay when you reserve your tour will protect you against future currency fluctuations; on the other hand, no price adjust (refund) will be made based upon change in tour prices.
  • Changes to Reservations: A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary will be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply.

    Cancellation penalties per person (request day and departure day are not counted)
    15 days or more prior to departure - no penalty
    8-14 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
    Within 7 days prior to departure - 100% of total purchase amount.
    Day of departure or no show - 100% per person.
    Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
    Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a scheduled trip to fully refund affected customers although tour companies will make every effort to maintain normal operations.
    The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
    NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of the tour.

  • Prices may vary and are subject to availability by season, weekend, and/or holiday.
  • While we will make every effort to maintain a regular operation, we reserve the right to cancel a scheduled trip and issue a full refund to affected customers under special circumstances.
