Start our shopping tour today in old down town markets of Cairo. Then we will move to the El Ghorya Market, a very typical Egyptian market in the pretty Fatimid Cairo. We will walk in the wonderful Gamalia Street, near El Azhar mosque and Khan El Khalili. Then we will proceed to Bab Zuwayla traditional area, Bab al Futah and Bab al Nasr. Our next stop is El Mosky, a very crowded Egyptian market that has everything. We can aslo enjoy a very unique shopping at Giza first shopping in the history. At the end of tour, we will be driven back to hotel.

    Cairo, Egypt's sprawling capital, is set on the Nile River. Nearby, Giza is site of the iconic pyramids and Great Sphinx, dating to the 26th century B.C.E. In Gezira Island's leafy Zamalek district, 187m Cairo Tower affords panoramic city views.

    Bab Zuweila

    It is one of three remaining gates in the walls of the Old City of Cairo, the capital of Egypt. It is considered one of the major landmarks of the city and is the last remaining southern gate from the walls of Fatimid Cairo in the 11th and 12th century.

    El Ghorya

    A very typical Egyptian market in the pretty Fatimid Cairo. The complex was a built as a unique, multi-use space. It included the mosque and the mausoleum, but also a sabil that provided free water to the people, administrative space, and a covered market among other things. Now it offers a performance venue and housing and exhibit space for artists.

    El Mosky

    El Mosky is known for its prices as the merchants in this market sell all the products with retail prices. You can find every thing you had on your mind in this market as it combines all kinds of industries.

Confirmation

  • You will receive a confirmation email (e-ticket) after your order is processed. Complete operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, is included on your e-ticket. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

  • Booking Changes
    A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply.
  • Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
    Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to Taketours by email or through web mail at Contact Take tours for details.
    Cancellation penalties per person (Notification day and departure day are not counted)
    30 or more days prior to departure - 10% of total purchase amount.
    7-29 days prior to departure - 25% of total purchase amount.
    4-6 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
    Within 3 days prior to departure - 100% of total purchase amount.
    Day of departure - 100% of total purchase amount.
    Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
    Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a schedule trip to fully refund affected customers although tour companies will make every efforts to maintain the normal operation.
    The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
    NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of tour.
  • Itinerary Variations
    We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
  • Tour Cancellation:
    We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, Taketours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers. We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.
