Today we will be picked up from our hotel in Cairo or Giza in the morning. Then we will drive to visit the Salah El-Din Citadel. After that we will continue to visit the Mosque of Muhammad Ali which was designed by the architect Yousif Boushnaq. Then we will proceed to visit the Khan El-Khalili Bazar, one of the most famous and oldest bazaars in the Middle East. Next we will visit Old Cairo where we will enjoy the Hanging Church , Ben Ezra Synagogue, Church of St. Barbara before returning back to the hotel.

    Cairo, Egypt's sprawling capital, is set on the Nile River. Nearby, Giza is site of the iconic pyramids and Great Sphinx, dating to the 26th century B.C.E. In Gezira Island's leafy Zamalek district, 187m Cairo Tower affords panoramic city views.

    Saladin Citadel

    This medieval Islamic fortress in Cairo was built during the reign of Saladin to defend the city against the threat of invading Crusader forces. The famous Mosque of Muhammad Ali is located within the citadel.

    Mosque of Muhammad Ali

    This mosque can be found at the very summit of the citadel of Cairo. Built under the rule of the Ottoman Empire, it was the largest mosque built in the first half of the 19th century.

    Khan el-Khalili

    A major souk in the Islamic district of Cairo. The bazaar district is one of Cairo's main attractions for tourists and Egyptians alike.

    The Hanging Church

    This Coptic church in Cairo is one of the oldest in Egypt, with history dating back to the 3rd century AD. It gets its named because it is positioned above the gatehouse to the Babylon Fortress.

    Ben Ezra Synagogue

    This ancient synagogue in Old Cairo, sometimes referred to as the Synagogue of the Levantines, is, according to tradition, the site where baby Moses was found. A store of ancient Hebrew scriptures was found in its storeroom.
  • Pick up time: around 9:00am.
    Return time: about 5:00pm.
  • Departure location: Pick up and drop off at your hotel in Cairo or Giza.
