Pricing Policy

  • If there are two adults and one child (2-11 years old) joining the tour, the child can be charged at the child rate and treated as not occupying a separate bed, but must share a room with two adults. If there are two adults and two children, the price will be charged as four adults. The two rooms will be arranged with one adult and one child per room, and the children will have their own beds. The price charged will be the same as that for adults.
  • For individuals under the age of 18, pregnant women, or seniors aged 70 or above, they must be accompanied by at least one adult relative who is under the age of 65 in order to participate in the tour. Additionally, pregnant women or seniors aged 70 or above must sign a "Participation Agreement and Waiver of Liability" at the time of registration for the protection of both parties. We also recommend that pregnant women or seniors purchase appropriate insurance products before joining the tour.

Day 2: Cairo

After breakfast, you will be transferred to visit the archaeological sites in the Giza tourist area. Explore the famous Giza Pyramid Complex, including the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the Pyramid of Khafre, the Pyramid of Menkaure, and the Great Sphinx. Experience the grandeur of the ancient wonders that still stand today. Following a Chinese-style lunch, proceed to the Egyptian Museum. Dinner will be served with local cuisine, and afterward, you will be escorted back to the hotel to rest.

    Pyramid of Khafre

    The Pyramid of Khafre is the second largest of the Giza Pyramids. It is estimated to have been built around 2570 BC. It was first fully explored in 1837 AD by John Perring.

    Pyramid of Khufu

    The oldest, largest, and most famous of the 3 pyramids at Giza, the Great Pyramid was built around 2560 BC in the 4th Egyptian Dynasty. For 3,800 years, it was the largest man-made structure in the world.

    The Egyptian Museum

    Containing an unparalleled collection of over 120,000 items, this museum opened in 1902 to show a detailed history of ancient Egyptian culture. Many languages can be found on the artifacts, including Egyptian, Greek, Roman, and Arabic.

    Great Sphinx of Giza

    The Great Sphinx rises above the desert majestically as the tallest monolith statue in the world. It was built during the Old Kingdom of Egypt, usually dated between 2558-2532 BCE, under the reign of Pharaoh Khafra.

    Giza Necropolis

    The Giza Necropolis are among the most popular touristic destinations in the world. Each of these spectacular structures served as the final resting place of a king of the 4th Dynasty (c.2613–2494 BC). The Great Pyramid of Giza was built for King Khufu (c.2589–2566 BC), and the other two for Khafre and Menkaure, his son and grandson. Khufu’s pyramid is both the oldest and largest of the three, and the first building to exceed it in height would not be built for another 3,800 years!

Day 3: Aswan

This morning, you will take a flight to Aswan, marking the beginning of a journey on a five-star Nile River cruise. The cruise offers top-notch facilities and accommodations, ensuring you enjoy a splendid Nile River experience. Upon arrival, you proceed to the cruise ship for check-in. Later, you are driven to the Aswan High Dam and then take a boat to visit the Philae Temple. After the tour, you will return to the pier and board the cruise ship to rest. After the morning sightseeing, you could relax in the cruise ship's swimming pool or on the deck. In the evening, you could explore the nearby Aswan Souks on your own.

*Optional activity: Visit the "Nubian Village" in the afternoon.

    High Dam

    This embankment dam sits on the Nile River in southern Egypt. Built between 1898 and 1902 to prevent the annual flooding of the Nile River, the dam also provides irrigation water and hydroelectric power.

    Temple of Isis on Philae

    This temple was built on the island of Philae, which sits downstream of the Aswan Dam, in the 4th century BC. The temple has been noted for its architectural prowess.

Day 4: Aswan-Kom Ombo-Edfu (99 km)

After having breakfast on the cruise, the tour continues from Aswan to Luxor, passing through the Kom Ombo - Edfu area. Upon reaching Kom Ombo, you will disembark to visit the Kom Ombo Temple. After the visit, return to the cruise ship and continue the journey to Edfu.

*Optional activity: Depart at 04:00am for a visit to the Abu Simbel Temple, which is located at the southern part of Aswan.

    Abu Simbel Temples

    These two massive rock temples in Aswan were carved out of the mountainside during the reign of Pharaoh Ramesses II. They were forgotten for thousands of years, buried under sand until their rediscovery in 1813.

    It is an agricultural town in Egypt famous for the Temple of Kom Ombo.

    Temple of Kom Ombo

    The Temple of Kom Ombo is unique due to its double design. This meant that there were courts, halls, sanctuaries and rooms duplicated for two sets of gods. The southern half of the temple was dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek. The northern part of the temple was dedicated to the falcon god Haroeris ("Horus the Elder"), along "with Tasenetnofret or Panebtawy (Lord of the Two Lands)."

Day 5: Edfu-Esna-Luxor (92 km)

After the cruise ship arrives in Edfu, you will disembark and take a local horse-drawn carriage (about 15 minutes) to visit the Edfu Temple. After the visit, you will return to the cruise ship. The journey then continues to Luxor, passing through the Esna Locks. While passing through the locks, the cruise ship has to slow down and gently navigate through a narrow channel, waiting for the locks to release water. After the excursion, you will return to the cruise ship to enjoy a buffet dinner.

    Temple of Edfu

    An ancient Egyptian temple, dedicated to the falcon god Horus, was built in the Ptolemaic period between 237 and 57 BC. It's located on the west bank of the Nile in Edfu, Upper Egypt and is one of the best preserved shrines in Egypt.

    Esna Lock

    Esna Lock is very narrow and can only accommodate one cruise ship at a time. Due to this factor, it usually takes several hours to pass through the sluice. While waiting to pass through the sluice, you can explore the unique scenic views of Esna’s water market.

Day 6: Luxor-Hurghada (210 km)

This morning marks the end of the cruise journey. After disembarking, you will visit the hidden treasures on the west bank of the Nile, deep within the cliffs, such as the Valley of the Kings, where giant statues like the Colossi of Memnon stand guard, and the temple of Hatshepsut, Egypt's first female pharaoh. Guided by the tour guide, you will explore the world's largest temple complex, the Karnak Temple, and the Luxor Temple. After the tour, enjoy a local-style Chinese lunch. In the afternoon, drive to the famous Red Sea resort city - Hurghada. After checking in, indulge in a hearty buffet dinner.

    Colossi of Memnon

    These two massive stone statues near Luxor have stood for nearly 3,400 years, marking the entrance to the ancient Theban necropolis. Both statues depict the pharaoh Amenhotep III and are made of quartzite sandstone.

    Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut

    Nestled into a set of cliffs in the ancient city of Thebes, now modern day Luxor, this ancient temple is dedicated to the god Amen-Ra. It is considered the closest ancient Egyptians came to the Calssical style of architecture.

    Karnak Temple

    This vast complex of ruined temples was once the great Egyptian city of Thebes. It is a vast, open-air museum where visitors can see a cross-section into many eras of ancient Egyptian culture.

    Luxor Temple

    This large temple complex was the grand monument in ancient Thebes. Constructed around 1400 BCE, various sections were built under the rule of the famous pharaohs Tutankhamen and Ramesses II.

Day 7: Hurghada

After breakfast, you will be driven back to Cairo. Lunch will be at a rest stop on the highway. Around 4:00 PM, arrive at the New Cairo district. We will explore the local commercial area of New Cairo, experience the lifestyle of affluent Egyptians, and engage in shopping activities at your leisure. Dinner will be at a Chinese restaurant. After the meal, you will be transferred back to the hotel to rest.

Today you'll immerse yourself in Egypt's historic Islamic Old Town. Accompanied by the guide, visit the Saladin Citadel and the Muhammad Ali Mosque inside the Citadel. After the tour, enjoy a local lunch. Following the meal, proceed to Coptic Old Cairo to visit the Hanging Church and Khan El Khalili Market. On both sides of the street, you'll find ancient Arabian architecture, and you might even catch a glimpse of the old city walls and gates. Even if you don't plan to shop, this is a great place for photography and leisurely exploration.

    The Hanging Church

    This Coptic church in Cairo is one of the oldest in Egypt, with history dating back to the 3rd century AD. It gets its named because it is positioned above the gatehouse to the Babylon Fortress.

    Khan el-Khalili

    A major souk in the Islamic district of Cairo. The bazaar district is one of Cairo's main attractions for tourists and Egyptians alike.

After breakfast, the check-out time is before 12:00 PM. You can choose to check out on your own and depart from the hotel, or use the airport transfer service (complimentary) today.

  • Cairo Airport (CAI) Pickup Arrangment An English-speaking representative will be waiting at the aircraft gate holding a sign with your name in Pinyin/English, based on your flight schedule time. He will accompany you through customs, assist with the "landing visa - self-pay $25" process, help you exchange Egyptian pounds at the bank, assist with getting a local SIM card with internet access, and then transfer you to the hotel for rest.

Confirmation

  • Immediately after submitting your reservation you will receive a receipt of booking by email. Within 72 hours of submitting your reservation you will receive a confirmation email confirming the booking status. Please do not book any airline tickets until you receive the status of your booking.

Redemption

  • You will receive a confirmation voucher in 2-3 business days after you receive the e-ticket. Complete Operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination and depature details, is included in your confirmation voucher. When you reserve your attractions and services you will be asked to print the confirmation voucher to present when you arrive at your destination. It is your proof of purchase.

Terms & Condition

  • Booking changes
    A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply.
  • Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
    Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. The time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to TakeTours by email or through webmail at Contact Us .
  • Cancellation penalties per person (request day and departure day are not counted)
    31 days or more prior to departure - Free cancellation with full refund.
    16-31 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount. For Egypt Tour: 50% of total purchase amount (after deducting the cost of Ferry transportation and Air transportation)
    Within 15 days prior to departure or no show - 100% of the total purchase amount.
    Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
    Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a schedule trip to fully refund affected customers although tour companies will make every effort to maintain the normal operation.
    The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
    NOTE: 1) We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of the tour. 2) If a guest quits during the trip or fails to participate in any itinerary due to personal reasons (no travel documents, late arrival, illness, accident, etc.), the paid tour fare will not be refunded, and no other services will be compensated. 3) Additional hotel bookings before or after the tour as well as other services are subject to hotel cancellation policy to determine if a refund is possible. 4) Gift items in the itinerary that cannot be given away due to force majeure factors such as traffic and weather conditions or personal reasons may be subject to change. Please understand that the fees will not be refunded.
  • In the event of weather, war, strikes and other force majeure that make it impossible to tour, We will try its best to protect the safety of guests and their property. We reserves the right to cancel or adjust part or all of the itinerary, and will not bear any direct or indirect responsibility caused by force majeure. The paid tour fee is non-refundable.
