Notice on the Covid-19 Nucleic Acid and Serology IgM Antibody Testing Institutions Accepted by the Chinese Consulate General in San Francisco

In accordance with Notice on the Requirement Adjustment of the Nucleic Acid rt-PCR and IgM Serum Antibody Tests by the Chinese Embassy in the USA, starting from 0:00 on October 13, 2021 Pacific Time, the Chinese Consulate General in San Francisco will only accept Covid-19 nucleic acid and serology IgM antibody test reports from the listed testing institutions. The Chinese Consulate General in San Francisco will follow up the testing quality and methods of the testing institutions announced in this notice, and increase or decrease testing institutions on the list irregularly according to the actual needs, it is kindly suggested to keep updated on the latest list.

The Consulate General in San Francisco will verify each application to the corresponding testing institution. The applicants shall agree and authorize the testing institution to send the test results and other personal information to the Consulate General in San Francisco, so as to facilitate the verification as soon as possible.

Due to the wide-spreading of the pandemic, you are kindly reminded that subject to multiple factors, health code may not be issued even if the report is provided from the listed institutions. During the epidemic, we once again recommend travelers avoid nonessential and non-urgent travels. Staying-at-home is strongly advised for the essential and urgent travelers after the specimen collection for the testing. While having to go out, please protect yourselves by masks wearing, social distancing. If there are suspected symptoms before boarding, please cancel the travel and seek for medical treatment immediately.
