Itinerary

Overview

Led by a locally licensed and English-speaking guide, our tour will provide you with comprehensive knowledge of the history of Florence's Duomo, Italy's best surviving Gothic cathedral. Your tour will bring you through the two shells that make up the dome where you can truly appreciate the work of Filippo Brunelleschi, the Renaissance architect who designed the dome. Along the way, you'll also enjoy breathtaking frescoes from Renaissance painters and stunning views of the city. The views from the Duomo Terraces are something you won't soon forget. You'll be able to see all of Florence and into the hills of Tuscany from the best perch in the city. Along the way, your guide will be there to answer all your questions and help with pictures as there will be plenty of photo opportunities!

We reserve the right to alter the tour price in accordance with changes in foreign exchanges rates and changes in prices for services. The rate that you pay when you reserve your tour will protect you against future currency fluctuations; on the other hand, no price adjust (refund) will be made based upon change in tour prices.

All purchases are subject to re-confirmation within 1 business days after booking. Please do not book the airline tickets until you received the confirmation.

Redemption

Complete operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, are included on your e-ticket. You must print and bring e-ticket(s) on your trip, as they serve as proof of purchase.

Terms & Condition

Cancellation Policy: The payment is fully refundable if the reservation is cancelled 8 business days or more prior to the scheduled tour. Cancellations received within 4-7 days of departure will incur a penalty of 30% of total purchase amount. The payment will not be refunded for any other reason (i.e. weather, change of travel plans, illness, missed train, etc.) within 3 business days of the scheduled tour. The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
Rain Policy: The tour operates rain or shine. In case of heavy rain, the bike tour may proceed as a walking tour instead. Guest options on rainy days:
Proceed with the tour hoping for clearing weather - with the understanding that no refund or discount will be given if Segways are not ridden due to rain, or if the Segway tour is abbreviated due to rain.
50% refund for client cancellation
Rain check to be used the following day or at any other time, subject to availability. The Rain check is a voucher given to the client. The voucher is transferable and may be sold or given to others to use at a future date and lasts up to 1 year from date.
There is 6% handling fee add-on to the above penalties.
Prices may vary and are subject to availability by season, weekend, and/or holiday.
While we will make every effort to maintain a regular operation, we reserve the right to cancel a scheduled trip and issue a full refund to affected customers under special circumstances.
