Starting in the Gold Coast, we will see the sights of historic
Brisbane, Australia's third largest city and Queensland's capital city with its fresh, innovative and vibrant CBD. From a trendy cafe club culture to thriving shops and 19th century sandstone buildings, learn the history and culture behind this up and coming city.
We will visit the sights including the Cathedral Square, pass by the Botanic Gardens, pass under Story Bridge with detailed commentary of sites, Parliament House, Conrad Treasury Hotel, Anzac Square, City Hall, Cross Captain Cook Bridge and Story Bridge, Fortitude Valley, Chinatown as well as the Queens Street Mall by taking a coach. We will also enjoy a scenic cruise on the Brisbane River, with spectacular views of waterfront homes and the Brisbane skyline, then sailing under Story Bridge and South Bank Parklands. After that, we will have the afternoon leisure time before a late afternoon return at 4:45pm from Brisbane Transit Centre.
