Before our arrival at at O'Reilly's, we will enjoy a stroll along the 'Gallery Walk', Mt Tamborine's unique local art and crafts shops. Upon arrival at O'Reilly's, we will be enchanted by the calls of an amazing array of native birds. We can enjoy life in the top of the trees as we take a stroll along the 'Tree Top Walk' 16 metres above the rainforest floor.
We will head inland into the mountain range of Eucalypt forest and visit the Mt Tamborine in the Gold Coast hinterland. Then we will go for a Gallery Walk - premier art and craft centre. We also have time to walk and browse this picturesque strip with its cluster of galleries and craft shops. We will have a chance to enjoy a local specialty at Granny Mac's at own expenses. Then we will go through the forest to 'The Goat's Track' and see the spectacular scenery of ancient Beech trees and sub tropical rainforests. Afterwards we will pass by the Kokoda Army Barracks, a Jungle Warfare Training Centre in Canungra. Then we will continue to visit the Lamington National Park. Hear the stories of the heroic rescue by Bernard O'Reilly of the Stinson plane crash survivors and the fascinating life of these early pioneers. Nextly we will go to visit the O'Reilly's on top of the mountain with a chance to feed Crimson Rosellas and King Parrots at own expenses. Lastly we will come to the O'Reilly's Mountainview Cafe and enjoy spectacular views of the mountain range while dining from the balcony at own expenses.
