Travel to Oak Creek Canyon
Sometimes referred to as the little cousin of the Grand Canyon, this 12-mile-long canyon in the Sedona area of Arizona is second only to the Grand Canyon as a popular Arizona tourist destination. The canyon is located in the Coconino National Forest, and portions of the forest are officially-designated wilderness area. Nonetheless, there is still much in the way of recreational activity, including Slide Rock State Park and the natural waterslide that runs along Oak Creek.
