In the morning, we will visit Akaka Falls to view the 150 meter tall waterfalls deep within the lush Hawaiian tropical forest. Then, we will visit the Farmer's Market in downtown Hilo before continuing to the Nani Mau Gardens. Next, we will continue to Lava Trees State Park, where we will be able to see trees petrified under rocks formed by lava. After that, we will continue to the Kapoho Ahalanui Hot Pond, where cool ocean water and a geothermal spring mix at the edge of the shore. Then, we will move on to Kalapana, where one of the island's most famous beaches has been destroyed by flowing lava. At the end of the new coastline, we will see a black sand beach.
