Known in the native Hawaiian tongue as "Waiānuenue," which literally means "Rainbow Water," this lovely waterfall on the Big Island of Hawaii is a popular tourist spot. The falls are located in Wailuku River State Park, and only a few minutes drive west from downtown Hilo. On sunny mornings, rainbows can be seen in the mist from the fall, hence its name. However, Wikipedia warns that: "Sun is scarce [in Hilo], so you'll want to plan [ahead]" to see.
