After breakfast, we'll have a 2-hour-drive northwest of Saigon to the Cu Chi tunnels. In the afternoon, we will visit the War Remnants Museum. The day will end with visits to Notre Dame Cathedral, Old Post Office, Saigon Opera House and Ben Thanh Market.

Cu Chi Tunnels
Located a short distance outside Ho Chi Minh City, this large network of underground tunnels played an important role in the famous Tet Offensive executed by the North Vietnamese army during the Vietnam War.
War Remnants Museum
This war museum is filled with relics from both the Vietnam War and the First Indochina War between France and Vietnam. With a rich collection of military equipment, it is one of the most popular attractions in Vietnam.
Saigon Notre Dame Basilica
Completed in 1880, this cathedral is a remnant of French colonialism in Vietnam. All of the original materials were imported from France. There is a statue of the Virgin Mary out front.
Central Post Office
This historic post office in downtown Ho Chi Minh City was completed by French colonists in 1891 with Gothic and Renaissance architectural influences. Alfred Foulhoux was the head designer.
Saigon Opera House
The Municipal Theatre of Ho Chi Minh City, an example of French Colonial architecture in Vietnam, built in 1897. The 800 seat building was used as the home of the Lower House assembly of South Vietnam after 1956. It was not until 1975 that it was again used as a theatre, and restored in 1995.
Ben Thanh Market
The market is one of the earliest surviving structures in Saigon and an important symbol of Hồ Chí Minh City, popular with tourists seeking local handicrafts, textiles, áo dài and souvenirs, as well as local cuisine.

Ho Chi Minh City - Mekong Delta - Ho Chi Minh City - Hue (1391 km)

After breakfast, it is a 2 hour pleasant drive to Ben Tre province crossing the cable-stayed Rach Mieu bridge and see the South Sea, the islets of Ben Tre. Upon arrival at Hung Vuong Pier, hop on a motorized boat on the Ben Tre River. We will visit a brick kiln and a coconut processing workshop. When we return to the boat, we'll motor through natural scissors creeks to a village and see some local houses, sleeping mat making, and enjoy some local fruits. Take a Tuk-Tuk (motorized cart) or bicycle along shady paths, pass by green rice fields and vegetable plains in the delta. After lunch, we'll take a rowing-boat along a beautiful water palm creek before meeting the motorized boat and transfer back to the pier and drive back to Ho Chi Minh City for a flight to
Hue.
Mekong Delta, Vietnam
This fertile region is formed by the Mekong River's outflow into the Pacific Ocean. There are many islands and rice paddies. It is a great place to take a boat cruise to learn about rural Vietnamese life.

After breakfast, we will start a cyclo (rickshaw) tour around the Hue city. We will visit the Imperial Citadel, including the Flag Tower, Ngo Mon Gate, Nine Dynastic Urns, Nine Holy Cannons, Ngo Mon Gate, Thai Hoa Palace, and Forbidden Purple City (Tu Cam Thanh). In the afternoon, we will take a Dragon Boat cruise upstream on the Perfume River (Huong River) to Thien Mu
Pagoda. Our next stop will be King Tu Duc Tomb

Tomb of Tu Duc
Built in the mid-19th century, this tomb outside of Hue serves as the resting place for Tu Duc, one of the Nguyen emperors of Vietnam. There is a temple area and a tomb area.

After breakfast, we will visit Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and the One Pillar Pagoda, pass by the Presidential Palace to the West Lake where you will visit Tran Quoc. Lunch will be at your own expense. In the afternoon, we will visit the Temple of Literature and continue with the Museum of Ethnology. After that, we will return to the Old Quarter of Hanoi for a walking tour around the Old Streets which were named after the specific goods once offered for sale at these places. Stop at Hoan Kiem Lake to learn about legend of the lake and visit Ngoc Son Temple. Overnight in Hanoi.

Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum
This memorial tomb in Hanoi is dedicated to Ho Chi Minh, leader of Vietnam's Communist party until his death in 1969. It sits in the middle of Ba Dinh Square, an important site in the man's life.
One Pillar Pagoda
This pagoda is considered one of the most iconic in Vietnam. built in 1054, the pagoda gets its name because of the fact that it stands on a single pillar in the middle of a small body of water.
Tran Quoc Pagoda
This pagoda is the oldest Buddhist temple in Hanoi, built in the 6th century CE. The site is full of amazing Buddhist symbolism that visitocrs can learn more about.
Temple of Literature
This Confucian temple in Hanoi was built in 1070 CE. It also houses the Imperial Academy, Vietnam's first national university, so the site has always attracted scholars into its gates.
Vietnam Museum of Ethnology
Considered one of the finest modern attractions in Vietnam, this museum is dedicated to detailing the rich history of the 54 recognized ethnic groups that have inhabited the country over the years.
Old Quarter
The Old Quarter of Hanoi is full of French Colonial architecture and narrow streets that give it a very European feel. Many of the city's best attractions and eateries can be found here.
Hoan Kiem Lake
This scenic lake is part of the historical center of Hanoi, playing a significant part in the daily cultural life of its people. There is a local legend of the Golden Turtle God appearing to an emperor above the lake.
Ngoc Son Temple
Known as the "Temple of the Jade Mountain," this temple was built in dedicated to Confucian and Taoist philosophers. It is located on the shores of Hoan Kiem Lake at the center of historic Hanoi.

After breakfast, we will depart by road to Ha Long Bay. On arrival at the pier, we will board a cruise and enjoy a welcome drink before checking in to cabin. and board your cruise. The cruise starts right afterward with lunch served on board. The cruise passes by many rocks and islets in many funny shapes. The cruise meanders among many karst rocks and islets in their many unique and funny shapes. Dinner served on board. In the evening, enjoy night fishing, drinks on the rooftop, watching an Indochina film, or massage, spa etc. (Shared local English speaking guide on boat.)
Ha Long Bay, Vietnam
Ha Long Bay is a beautiful body of water off the coast of Northern Vietnam. The area is dotted with beautiful islands that are perfect for cruising, swimming, and sunbathing.

After breakfast onboard, we will transfer to a day-boat, soon heading to Lan Ha Bay at the furthest side of Ha Long bay. The highlight of this day will be kayaking through spectacular tunnels to reach Secret Lagoon (if tides permit). After lunch, you will have time to swim, enjoy the beach, and practice more kayaking. We will also have the opportunity to visit a temple and a floating fish farm. Late afternoon, we will back on the overnight boat for optional spa and massage services, happy hour, scrumptious dinner and overnight stay, anchored in a peaceful bay.
Day 11:

You can join a Tai Chi lesson for some early morning exercise and watch the sunrise over the bay before breakfast. Today we will visit a beautiful limestone grotto, then head back to the boat for a final glimpse of Ha Long Bay while cruising back to the dock. Disembarking around 11:00, then your driver & guide will transfer you back to Hanoi.
After breakfast, we will be free until meet guide and transfer to the airport for departure flight.
Airport Pickup: Guide will show a welcome board with clients' name, flight number and time. Airport transfer time is based on your arrival time.
