This exciting 120-mile excursion includes the key sites of Hawai’i’s most visited island. Your professional driver guide will pick you up in Waikiki in a deluxe tour vehicle and share the many natural and cultural landmarks of Oahu. From the South Shore with far reaching views of the Pacific Ocean to the windward coastline surrounded by the towering Ko’olau Mountain Range, then onward to the famous North Shore where waves pound pristine white sandy beaches, and back to Honolulu - you’ll take it all in during this one-of-a-kind tour.
Oahu, HI
Oahu is the most popular of the Hawaiian Islands. It is the location of Honolulu, Hawaii's capital, as well as much-loved tourist spots like Pearl Harbor and Waikiki. The Polynesian Cultural Center is on this island as well.
Halona Blowhole
The Halona Blowhole on the south shore of Oahu is the result of tubes created in rock thousands of years ago by volcanic eruptions. Large waves force water through the tubes, jetting it 30 feet into the air.
Nu'uanu Pali Lookout
This scenic point on Koʻolau Mountain in Oahu's Nuʻuanu Valley offers spectacular panoramic views of the northeastern coastline of the island of Oahu. The area is also the location of the Nuʻuanu Freshwater Fish Refuge and Nu'uanu Reservoir.
Byodo-In Buddhist Temple
Surrounded by koi ponds, this non-denominational temple was built in the 1960s to commemorate the 100-year anniversary of the first Japanese immigrants to the Hawaiian islands. Before entering, visitors should ring the peace bell.
Waimea Valley
This area has great cultural and historic significance to native Hawaiian religion, featuring several buildings that date to the time of the Hawaiian monarchy. The falls located here are occasionally used for cliff diving.
Mokoli'i
This small island off the shore of Oahu has often been called "Chinaman's Hat" because of its resemblance to coned hats from Asia. The 12.5 acre island was separated from Oahu by erosion.
Haleiwa
A town along the northwest coast of O'ahu, Haleiwa is known as a top surfing destination. Matsumoto Shave Ice is a local favorite, where visitors can get Hawaii's favorite dessert.
Dole Plantation
Dole Plantation opened in 1950, billing itself as "Hawaii's Pineapple Experience." In addition to touring the fields, visitors can attempt the "world's largest maze," a 3-acre adventure with more than two miles of paths and a mystery to solve.
