Travel to Algonquin Provincial Park
Highway 60 cuts its way through Algonquin Provincial Park, which covers a massive area in Ontario (about a quarter the size of Belgium). There are numerous campsites for anyone wishing to spend the night in the heart of the wilderness. This great expanse of woods has served as the inspiration for various painters and visual artists, infatuated with the wide landscapes. Off of Highway 60 are a visitor's center and museum showcasing the history of the park.
