Child rates: Please inform us the date of birth of all the children in your group at tour booking. Tour operator is entitled to decline customers who take infant or child that there is no registration in advance. Car seats are only available upon pre-request while supply lasts for the small size vehicles.

Itinerary

Overview

Early in the morning, we will escape the glitter of Las Vegas by heading out to explore Death Valley National Park, arriving around 9:30am. We will visit Dante's View, Zabriskie Point, Devil's Golf Course, Badwater Basin, Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes. We will arrive back in Las Vegas around 6:00pm.

Death Valley, CA

Death Valley is a region of the Mojave Desert which has the distinction of being the lowest and driest area of North America. The hottest temperature ever recorded on Earth, occurred here.

Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes

The Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes are at the northern end of the valley floor and are nearly surrounded by mountains on all sides. Due to their easy access from the road and the overall proximity of Death Valley to Hollywood, these dunes have been used to film sand dune scenes for several movies.

View of Dante

The best time to visit Dante's View is in the cooler morning hours, when the sun is in the east. Dante's View is an excellent venue for night time star viewing with telescopes.

Due to the influence of construction maintenance and rain erosion, the soil is often loose. In order to ensure the safety of guests, we will add an alternative scenic spot, Golden Canyon. The Dante's View is still our first choice.

Golf Course of Devil

The Devil's Golf Course is a large salt pan on the floor of Death Valley. It was named after a line in the 1934 National Park Service guide book to Death Valley National Monument, which stated that "Only the devil could play golf" on its surface, due to a rough texture from the large halite salt crystal formations.

Badwater Basin

This barren basin in the heart of Death Valley National Park has an elevation of 282 feet below sea level, making it the lowest point in North America.

Zabriskie Point

Zabriskie Point is a part of Amargosa Range located east of Death Valley in Death Valley National Park in California, United States, noted for its erosional landscape. It is composed of sediments from Furnace Creek Lake, which dried up 5 million years ago — long before Death Valley came into existence.

Tour bus will arrive at the pickup location 10 min ealier than the departure time. Please arrive in advance. The bus will not wait for anyone late.

Selection of Vehicle Type will follow the actual number of tourists.Vehicle Arrangement: Passengers on the same reservation will be arranged on the same Vehicle unless stated otherwise. If you wish to be on the same Vehicle as another party /an existing reservation, please note your request with the reservation number in the comment section on the checkout page or notify us at least 24 hours prior to tour departure.
It is highly suggested you bring extra water as well as sunscreen, ChapStick, sunglasses, and a hat.Please wear comfortable outdoor clothing and walking shoes.
Your cell phone may not have signal in some areas.
Please bring Motion Sickness Medication, if necessary.
If you plan to have a night tour or show for the same day after the tour, please leave enough time for each activity. The tour duration may be changed or extended depending on weather, traffic conditions.
Departure time and point are subject to the actual weather. Please confirm your departure time and point with the tour guide one day before departure, and arrive at your departure point 15 mins before departure time. There will be no refund if you are late or miss the bus.
Due to security check, it is not allowed to carry the over-sized baggage (Maximum.10 inches * 11 inches * 18 inches)
Language: This tour is escorted by a professional bilingual tour guide and/or driver guide (English/Chinese). Tours and/or languages may be combined to operate this tour depending on the number of passengers who have booked a particular departure.

All purchases are subject to re-confirmation within 2-3 business days after booking. Please do not book the airline tickets until you received the confirmation.

Redemption

Complete operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, are included on your e-ticket. You must print and bring e-ticket(s) on your trip, as they serve as proof of purchase.

Booking and Reservation
All tours are for early booking, tour operator suggests the each passenger should book tour at least 3 weeks before departure date. Passenger may make reservation via email; however, seats will not be assigned until the deposit has been paid. At time of reservation, passenger may require to provide name, phone number and address and specify designated tour and date of travel.All seats are pre-assigned with numbers; seat assignment is based on a first come first serve basis after down payment.
Travel Documents
Each passenger must carry a valid travel document. (Valid visa for countries needed) (E.g. Green Card, Passport, Re-Entry Permit, and etc.) Tour operator is not responsible for lost or stolen personal items.
Cancellation penalties per person (request day and departure day are not counted)
30 days or more prior to departure - - No penalty.
15-29 days or more prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
8-14 days prior to departure - 70% of total purchase amount.
Within 7 days prior to departure - 100% of total purchase amount.
Day of departure no show or late - 100% per person.
Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a scheduled trip to fully refund affected customers although tour companies will make every effort to maintain normal operations.
The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of the tour.
Broading Time and Location
All passengers must arrive 15 minutes before departure time. All passengers must show photo ID and boarding pass or tickets for boarding; absolutely no boarding without tickets. Departure time and boarding location will be confirmed after reservation is made.
Travel Insurance
Tour operator is not responsible for any loss of or damage to personal items, or personal injury that may occur on or during the tour. It is optional that passengers to buy travel insurance, for more information, please consult your travel agent.
Itinerary Variations
We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
Tour Cancellation
We reserve the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure of the tour, Taketours only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.

All meals and drinks during the trip are not included in tour price. The tour guide will make eating arrangements and stop for meal breaks. Normally the locations are fast food.
