  • The tour guide will contact you one day before the departure. Please keep your mobile phone on and answer the call. If you are on a plane or cruise ship the day before the tour, please inform us in advance. We will contact you in advance.
  • The local tour operator has the right to adjust the order of visiting tourist attractions and cities due to the actual conditions on the day of the tour (departure date, weather, transportation or other objective factors). It is not recommended that tourists leave the tour early. Losses caused by personal reasons, such as leaving the tour early, shall be borne by the tourists themselves, and the tour fees already paid will not be refunded or compensated in other ways.

  • During long weekend holidays such as New Year, National Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas, etc., if the hotel prices change temporarily, we will contact you at the time of order confirmation.
  • Room allocation service is only available for orders 15 days before departure or more.
  • All necessary fees are packaged, including visits to tourist attractions. If the tourist attractions are not open on the day of the tour, alternative attractions will be arranged for visiting, and the cost will not be changed. If there are no alternative attractions, the corresponding refunds will be arranged.
  • Tourists in the same room cannot use different pick-up points. Please understand and be aware of this.
  • The service fee is calculated on a daily basis, and is required for airport pickup, check-in at hotels (except for Los Angeles), free activities or early departure. Please be aware of this and thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
  • Tourists must purchase tickets with the tour guide. City Pass or bringing your own tickets are not allowed. The ticket price is subject to the current price of the tourist attraction. If tourists insist on using their own tickets, the local tour operator will not provide transportation or tour guide services for the day.

Confirmation

  • All purchases are subject to re-confirmation within 2-3 business days after booking. Please do not book the airline tickets until you received the confirmation.

Redemption

  • Complete operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, are included on your e-ticket. You must print and bring e-ticket(s) on your trip, as they serve as proof of purchase.

    Booking and Reservation
    All tours are for early booking, tour operator suggests the each passenger should book tour at least 3 weeks before departure date. Passenger may make reservation via email; however, seats will not be assigned until the deposit has been paid. At time of reservation, passenger may require to provide name, phone number and address and specify designated tour and date of travel.All seats are pre-assigned with numbers; seat assignment is based on a first come first serve basis after down payment.
  • Travel Documents
    Each passenger must carry a valid travel document. (Valid visa for countries needed) (E.g. Green Card, Passport, Re-Entry Permit, and etc.) Tour operator is not responsible for lost or stolen personal items.
  • Cancellation penalties per person (request day and departure day are not counted)
    30 days or more prior to departure - - No penalty.
    15-29 days or more prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
    8-14 days prior to departure - 70% of total purchase amount.
    Within 7 days prior to departure - 100% of total purchase amount.
    Day of departure no show or late - 100% per person.
    Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
    Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a scheduled trip to fully refund affected customers although tour companies will make every effort to maintain normal operations.
    The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
    NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of the tour.
  • Broading Time and Location
    All passengers must arrive 15 minutes before departure time. All passengers must show photo ID and boarding pass or tickets for boarding; absolutely no boarding without tickets. Departure time and boarding location will be confirmed after reservation is made.
  • Travel Insurance
    Tour operator is not responsible for any loss of or damage to personal items, or personal injury that may occur on or during the tour. It is optional that passengers to buy travel insurance, for more information, please consult your travel agent.
  • Itinerary Variations
    We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
  • Tour Cancellation
    We reserve the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure of the tour, Taketours only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.
