Jason, the tour guide was fantastic! He was helpful, friendly, and patient with customers. The hotels were very comfortable and clean. The driver was professional and customers feel safe on the bus. We really enjoyed the tour and will definitely book future vacations with Taketours.

I had a wonderful time on my trip to New York and surrounding states, thanks mainly to my tour guide, Judy Li. She constantly kept us busy with fun and educational activities and made sure we were all safe and having a good time. It was a trip of a lifetime!

We had an amazing time in this tour. We got a lot of information from the tour guide about the places of interest we visited. The bus driver was very good and the drive was comfortable. Hotels were clean. My only recommendation would be to put us up in hotels that serve breakfast. This would be very convenient.

The low fee is deceptive. Basically it simply covers hotels. Be prepared to pay for everything else, including every meal and every place you go. If you don't choose the so called optional activities, you won't see anything. For example, you will not allowed to go to Harward University on your own unless you pay for the optional tour. So the cost adds up quickly. We found out the 7-day tour is same as the 6-day tour only at the beginning of the trip. On the 7th day, we went from New Jersey to NYC for an independent tour day-not much time for anything.

Good tour overall. Lots of sights to see on quite a tight schedule that covered a lot of ground in a short amount of time. (NYC/Washington/Philadelphia/Niagara Falls/Boston). This involves significant time on a bus. Itinerary didn't exactly match online in regard to attractions or order of days. Cost wise overall was reasonable and cheaper than other tour companies: ~600 USD (tour) + additional ~600 USD (attractions + dinner day 4-6, these are optional but would recommend taking all of them). Accommodation was surprisingly good, double queen or single King in mostly Hilton or equivalent hotels. No need to take the 'upgrade option'. Customer service made several administrative of errors but was very responsive (did not provide hotel upgrade despite booking but refunded within 24 hours of complaint). Improvements: provide contact details of tour guide/local contact prior to start of tour (Tour guide was unaware I was at airport, and I needed to call many numbers, who eventually got me through to someone, who called me an uber to my hotel), provide provisional itinerary in advanced, (preferably in print form). Do note that this is a bilingual tour but mainly catered towards Mandarin speaking tourists. I am bilingual, so it suited me well.

It was my second tour to New York. Very well organized and executed. We had a wonderful time of 7 days/6 nights. Our tour guide Saeun was very polite and helpful. I strongly recommend this tour for others who wish to explain New York in best possible way.

The tour was great, I took a 7 days trip with my family starts from New York City. We are very satisfied with the hotels, clean and nice, you can ask for a King bed room if you want. Tour guide and driver are very friendly,we had a great time in Washington DC and Niagara Falls, I've been expecting this trip for a long time, and everything turned out amazing! Very unforgettable memories!

We had a good time. Very well organized, though AC in the bus was a bit of a problem as it was not enough. We strongly recommend this tour for others and have informed many of our friends. All the places were covered in time. Tour guide Paul was good and knowledgeable. He ensured we reached JFK airport well in time to catch over overseas flight by arranging a private taxi midway in Queens area so that we do not miss our flight.
Our recommendation/suggestion - Breakfast needs to be managed better as for few days we left hotel early and had to stop somewhere in mid of morning tour to garb something to eat. It might be better for tourists to make their own arrangements in advance if possible.
At few places like Philadelphia, Capitol Hill (Did not take inside tour) and Boston (Did not take University tour) we had more time to spend but could not explore more of the city.
Overall we recommend this tour for anyone as its convenient, well organised, worth for the price.
