Itinerary

Overview

After picked up from the hotel in Luxor, we will head to the east bank of Luxor where we will be accompanied by a private English Egyptologist guide to visit the Karnak Temple. Then we will move to the Luxor Temple. It was built by Amunhotep III in 18th Dynasty in the New Kingdom and it was completed by Ramesses II during the 19th Dynasty. Then we will continue to visit the Obelisk of Ramses II in front of the 1st Pylon. After that we will drive back to hotel in Luxor.

Luxor, EGYPT

Luxor is a city on the east bank of the Nile River in Egypt. It's on the site of ancient Thebes, the pharaohs' capital at the height of their power, during the 16th-11th centuries B.C.E.

Karnak Temple

This vast complex of ruined temples was once the great Egyptian city of Thebes. It is a vast, open-air museum where visitors can see a cross-section into many eras of ancient Egyptian culture.

Luxor Temple

This large temple complex was the grand monument in ancient Thebes. Constructed around 1400 BCE, various sections were built under the rule of the famous pharaohs Tutankhamen and Ramesses II.

Departure & Return

Pick up time: around 8:00am.
Return time: 12:30pm .
Pick up and drop off at your hotel in Luxor.
