  • Granada, SPAIN

    Granada, SPAIN
Granada is a mid-sized provincial capital in the Andalucia region of Spain. Rich in history and culture, Granada is arguably the single most worthwhile city in Spain for visitors. Spring and autumn are also both excellent times to visit.

    Alhambra

The Alhambra is a massive complex consisting of multiple palaces and fortresses. It originated as a Spanish-Muslim fortress in the 9th century, but subsequent rulers, both Muslim and Christian, continually added additions and renovations.

In the Alhambra complex, the Nazari palaces allow a limited number of people in at a time. In the highly improbable case of not being able to visit this area of the Alhambra, the Reales Alcazares in Seville, which is similar, would be visited and a sightseeing tour with a local guide of the city of Granada would also be offered.

    Generalife

Built in the 14th century as the summer palace of Nasrid Emirs of Grananda, the name of this palace means "Architect's Garden" for the extensive gardens on its grounds, which are world renowned for their exquisite beauty.

    Tablao Flamenco Zambra Gitana

In this activity you will have a night out in the city of Granada to the famous neighborhood of Albaicin-Sacromonte, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and where you can attend the Zambra Gitana show. You will have the opportunity to attend the pure flamenco show in Granada: flamenco stick, dance, singing, guitar playing and a drink.

    Tour Fee (Optional): Adult $45 / €40; Child $45 / €40|Duration: Approx. 3 Hours

    Albaicin

A district of Granada and a World Heritage Site declared in 1984. It retains the narrow winding streets of its Medieval Moorish past dating back to the Nasrid Kingdom of Granada.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Until the reestablishment of the maritime connection between Spain and Morocco, an alternative route will be proposed by taking a flight from Malaga to Tangier where, after a brief tour of the city, we will depart to Asilah to continue with the planned journey.
