Day 1: Marrakech - Ait Benhaddou - Ouarzazate - Dades Valley (410 km)

After picked from hotel, we will drive through the Tizi-N-Tichka pass in the Atlas Mountains where we can see beautiful landscapes with different colours and Berber villages along the way. We will stop here and take pictures. Then we will have a break in the Ait Barka Village and have a breakfast. Afterwards, we will continue to ascend to the highest point of the Atlas Mountains through the Tizi-N-Tichka pass where we will take a second break for more photos. Then we will arrive at the Ait Benhaddou. Here we will be led by a local guide who will explain the history of this amazing heritage. Then we will have free time to enjoy lunch for about 1 hour. After that, we will continue via the rose valley, Skoura Palm Grove to Dades Valley and Gorges. Overnight in the hotel at the heart of Dades Gorges at the south of Morocco.

Day 2: Dades Gorges - Todra Gorges - Merzouga Dunes-Sahara

Standard Hotel: Berber Camp in Sahara Desert of Merzouga.

After a traditional Marocan breakfast at hotel in Dades Gorges, we will take the road of 1000 kasbahs driving around the colourful Berber villages of Dades Valley. At 45 km further, we will get to Tineghir. It is famous by it's beautiful palm groves and Jewish quarter. Then we will arrive at the Todra Gorges (Todgha) and enjoy our free time to go on a trek along the canyons about 300m high. After lunch, we will go to the Erg Chebbi Dunes in the Merzouga Sahara desert. Once arrival, we will take a camel ride for 1h 30mins at sunset to get to the oasis where the camp is located. We will spend the night in the bivouac amongst Sahara dunes in nomadic tents or outside under shooting stars. We will also play drums with the camel drivers. Overnight in Merzouga Sahara desert tent.

    Reach the Camp

    When you arrive Sahara desert Merzouga, after relaxing few minutes. You’ll ride the camels to spend the night in the desert. We live in Berber nomad tents.

Day 3: Erg-Chebbi - Marrakech (562 km)

Early in the moorning, we will wake up to enjoy the sunrise over the dunes of Erg Chebbi of Merzouga desert. Followed by a traditional breakfast in the bivouac of Merzouga. Then we will ride camels back to meet with our driver. When back to Marrakech, we will drive via Rissani, Tinghir, Dades valley and Ouarzazate. We will have free time for lunch on the way. Then we will cross again the Tizi N'Tichka pass and Berber Villages between Ouarzazate and Marrakech. Tour will end here and will drop off at your hotel in Marrakech.
  • We will pick up at 8:00AM from your hotel in Marrakech and drop off to your hotel in Marrakech at 6:00PM.

  • Booking changes
    A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply. Please be noted that we do not allow departure change 48 hours before departure, any kind of modification of reservation need notice to TakeTours by email.
  • CANCELLATION OR CHANGE POLICY
    All cancellations or changes of date must comply with the following details:

    You can get total refund if cancel or change before 46 days of departure date (not including departure date).
    25% of total fee will be charged if cancel or change within 30 to 45 days before departure date (not including departure date).
    50% of total fee will be charged if cancel or change within 15 to 30 days before departure date (not including departure date).
    Absolutely NO refund on all cancellations or postponements within 15 days prior to departure (not including departure date).
    The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
  • TRAVEL INSURANCE
    Tour operator is not responsible for any loss of or damage to personal items, or personal injury that may occur on or during the tour.
    NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of tour.
  • Itinerary Variations
    We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
  • Tour Cancellation:
    We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, TakeTours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.
    We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.
