Travel to 17-Mile Drive

The 17-Mile-Drive is in fact 17 miles long, and runs along the California coastline through a gated community on the shore. There is a fee for driving the private stretch of road, but that millions of people have visited (and continue to do so) speaks to the value of the experience. Sights include the famous Lone Cypress, many bluffs and beaches, two golf courses, the Lodge at Pebble Beach for shopping and dining, and the Inn at Spanish Bay.
