Leave Montreal in the morning and enjoy the beautiful scenery along the Saint Lawrence River. Our first destination is Edmundston, in the maritime province of New Brunswick. After lunch, we will visit the world’s longest covered bridge: Hartland Covered Bridge. We will then pass by the capital of the province Fredericton and arrive in the largest city of New Brunswick - Saint John. Here, we will visit one of the 7 marine wonders of the world: Reversing Falls.

    Reversing Falls

    Where the Saint John River empties into the Bay of Fundy lie a series of rapids known as the Reversing Falls. During high tide, the water in the bay forces the rapids to flow upstream, hence their name.

Day 2: Saint John - Hopewell Rocks National Park - Prince Edward Island - Anne of Green Gables - Cavendish Beach (246 km)

After breakfast, we will visit Hopewell Rocks National Park to admire the world’s highest tides and the breathtaking so-called “Flowerpot Rocks”, formed by tidal erosion for millions of years. After lunch, we’ll go to Charlottetown, the capital of Prince Edward Island (P.E.I.), and the birthplace of Canada for the visit to Province House. Then we will visit the romantic house “Anne of Green Gables”, where countless couples have come there to spend their honeymoon. After all, we will have a relaxing time in Cavendish Beach, with red sand. You can enjoy a delicious meal of lobster meal.

Before leaving Prince Edward Island. We will stop at the information center beside the Confederation Bridge, which was once the world’s longest cross-sea bridge for photos and souvenirs. Afterward, we will cross the bridge to Halifax. Upon arrival, we will savor the earthshaking waves hitting granite boulders and the historic Peggy’s Cove Lighthouse. Then head to downtown Halifax to see the city. You can enjoy a delicious meal of lobster meal.

    Halifax Citadel

    Built as a British stronghold during the French and Indian War, the Halifax Citadel proudly rises on a hill above the rest of the city. Visitors can tour the grounds during the day or on a nighttime "Ghost Tour."

    On this tour, guests will board a vehicle that can travel on land or by water, embarking on a sightseeing tour of the cit of Halifax and a cruise in the harbor.

After breakfast, we will visit the military castle - Citadel of Halifax, which is the highest spot in the city and having a beautiful view of the harbor. On the way back, we will stop at Magnetic Hill in Moncton of New Brunswick, with a detailed explanation from a professional guide, you will surely unveil the mystery of the hill. We will then arrive in Shediac, the small town known as “Lobster Capital of the World”. You have a chance to see the world’s largest lobster over there.

    This unique stretch of road in New Brunswick is home to a convincing optical illusion. Because of the obstruction of the horizon, cars appear to roll up this "magnetic hill," and must accelerate 'down' it.

    World's Largest Lobster Statue

    A tribute to the region's lobster-fishing industry, the town of Shediac in New Brunswick is home to the largest statue of a lobster in the world. The ninety-ton statue makes for a perfect spot to take a memorable picture.

Day 5: Bathurst - Campbellton - Pointe-au-Pere - Rimouski - Montreal (798 km)

After breakfast, we will visit salmon’s home town: Campbellton, where you can take a photo with the world’s biggest salmon fish. Then we will visit the National Historic Site in Pointe-au-Pere beside the Saint Lawrence River, we have the lighthouse, which is the second-highest in Canada, and with a 4D movie to know the story about the 2nd ship wreckage in the world after the Titanic. You will also have a chance to take a photo with the only open-to-public submarine (outside only) in Canada. After Lunch, continue back to Montreal.

If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
  • Tour Cancellation:
    We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, TakeTours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking.
