Day 1: New York - New Haven - Newport - Boston (237 miles)

Today we will drive to New England. Our first stop will be the campus of Yale University. Next, we will then head to Newport, RI to visit the Breakers Mansion. After that, we will arrive in Boston, where guests will visit Harvard University and MIT. In the evening, we will have the chance to have a Lobster Dinner.

New Haven, CT

New Haven is a coastal city in the U.S. state of Connecticut. It is located on New Haven Harbor on the northern shore of Long Island Sound in New Haven County, Connecticut, and is part of the New York metropolitan area. Besides, New Haven is the home of Yale University.

Yale University

Founded in 1701, this world-famous university is the third-oldest in the United States. This Ivy-League school is consistently ranked as one of the best institutions of higher learning in the entire world, and admission is extremely competitive.

Newport, RI

Newport is a high end New England seaport town, extremely popular among the mega-rich of America. Travel along Ocean Drive to get beautiful scenic views and see the magnificent Breakers Mansion. It is a short drive from Boston.

Breakers Mansion

The Breakers mansion is not just one of the most famous, but is the largest and grandest of the several historical Newport "cottages" that dot the ritzy coastline. The four-story building is located on 14 acres of waterfront property.

One of the most famous institutions of higher learning in the world, Harvard University in Cambridge, MA has been standing since 1636, making it the oldest university in the United States. Tourists come for both history and the architecture.

MIT

The Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, Massachusetts is a research university known the world over for its highly selective and intense academics, and MIT alumni include 24 Nobel Prize winners and 22 Rhodes Scholars.

At one time, lobster was considered low-class food, barely fit to be used as fertilizer. Not so today-- the most elite are willing to shell out a fortune for a good lobster, and Massachusetts is famous for its shellfish.

Day 2: Boston - New Haven - New York (215 miles)

Today we will take a relaxing Boston Harbor Cruise, giving us a breathtaking view of the city from the water. Then, we will explore the biggest aquarium in the East Coast - New England Aquarium. Then, we will have lunch and spend free time at Quincy Market, After, we will return New York City.

Boston Harbor Cruise

See the famous Boston skyline like never before with a cruise of Boston Harbor. From the peak of the Prudential tower to the quaint North End, this beautiful and historic city is best viewed from the bay!

New England Aquarium

Considered one of the most enrapturing aquariums in the country, the New England Aquarium houses all manner of aquatic life in its Giant Ocean Tank and also features a large IMAX theater.

Quincy Market

Quincy Market in the Faneuil Hall marketplace of downtown Boston is a historic building that still serves as a souvenir marketplace and food court today. The area has expanded to include two other marketplace buildings as well.

Day 3: New York - West Point - Woodbury - New York (130 miles)

Today we will drive north of the city. Our first stop will be the famous military academy, West Point, in the town of West Point, NY. Here, we will learn about the Unites States' military history. From there, we will make our way to Woodbury Commons Premium Outlets in Woodbury, NY for some bargain shopping. At the end of the day, we will head back to New York City . West Point, New York is best known as the home of the United States Military Academy, where you can visit the West Point Museum to learn all about the history of the country's military.

West Point Military Academy

This famous military academy not far from New York City was established in 1802, making it the oldest in the country. In addition to the school, it is also home of the US military's oldest museum.

We will arrange Military official guides to assist your visit at the academy, so you must prepare your effective ID card.

Woodbury is a town and village in Orange County, New York, United States. The Town of Woodbury and the area formerly known as the hamlet of Woodbury Falls was officially created on December 19, 1889 by an act of the Orange County Board of Supervisors.

This outlet mall in Central Valley, New York is loaded with high value products available at unbelievable discount prices. Come up from New Jersey to shop at Calvin Klein, Nike, Tommy Hilfiger, Polo Ralph Lauren and many more.

If you do not participate in the tour of West Point, shopping time will be more abundant.

If you would like to join the optional activities, please pay the fee in cash to the tour guide. You cannot buy / use the tickets on your own or use City Passes. The tour guide will arrange the tickets for the group.

A mandatory service fees: Minimum $12 / day / person should be paid in cash to tour guide and the bus driver as a service fee. Any child / Infant reserving a seat will have to pay the service fees as well. Ex: 2 people taking a 2-day tour would pay: $12 x 2 (seats) x 2 (days) = $48.
Personal room fees: such as laundry or valet services, telephone calls, or alcoholic beverages/mini bar items, unless they are otherwise specified.

Bus Arrangement: Usually only passengers in the same order will be arranged in the same bus. If you book the tour separately with your friends and you want to sit in the same bus, you need to inform us before departure . Or you may be arranged in different buses.
Language: All tours are escorted by professional bi- or multi-lingual tour and/or driver guides (English/Chinese). Depending on the number of passengers booked for a particular departure, tours and/or languages may be combined to operate the tours.

Confirmation

All purchases are subject to re-confirmation within 2-3 business days after booking. Please do not book the airline tickets until you received the confirmation.

Redemption

Complete operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, is included on your e-ticket. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

Terms & Condition

Booking changes
A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply. Please be noted that we do not allow departure change 48 hours before departure.
Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. The time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to TakeTours by email or through webmail at Contact Us .
Cancellation penalties per person (request day and departure day are not counted)
15 days or more prior to departure - Free cancellation with full refund. Please reconfirm the penalty for the added hotel or flight ticket.
8-14 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
Within 7 days prior to departure or no show - 100% of the total purchase amount.
Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a schedule trip to fully refund affected customers although tour companies will make every effort to maintain the normal operation.
The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of the tour.
Itinerary Variations
We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
Tour Cancellation:
We reserve the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure of the tour, TakeTours only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.
We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.
