This is our 5th time using Take Tours and our experience has been great each time. This time our NYC tour guide was Kevin and the remaining trips tour guide was Jason who was just wonderful with his breakdance moves, haha. A big kudos to the driver for driving us for such long distances everyday, safely and smoothly.
We noticed that the hotels this time were a higher standard than our previous times, like four seasons and even Hilton. Except for the last day, our call time everyday was decent around 7:30-8am which was helpful.
We stopped for bathroom breaks every 2hrs like clockwork and both Kevin and Jason showed us the remaining restrooms wherever available. We also stopped for food, our tour guides guided us when to buy which meal based on availability, not a lot of food/healthy food options but enough to last you till you reach the next stop for better food.
I only wish the bus we rode in could be a bit better, the seats were exceptionally small, the luggage compartments were slanted which led to many falling of luggage’s, some of the AC vents didn’t work and also the charging ports were loose.
Overall a great trip for the price asked, I only wish we could go to a few more places that were already mentioned in the itinerary, for example Quincy market in Boston where we could have had our lunch.
We had taken five day Washington DC, Philadelphia, Buffalo, Niagara Falls, Boston, New York tour. Our tour guide, Jason, was very well informed, fluent in English, and very considerate in his dealings. He also displayed wonderful sense of humor which kept the spirits up. Jason ensured that stops were planned at regular intervals for convenience of customers.
With the exception of hotel in Buffalo, all other hotels were very good.
Thank you Mayi Tours for this enjoyable experience.
Overall it was good, covered a lot of places which otherwise are difficult. Tour guide Richard was very good and lively. Hotels were decent for night stay. Couple of advice - 4 days are enough, Boston could have been avoided. Secondly, not at optional places have entry ticket, you are still charged for it to cover parking expenses etc. I think there were overpriced. With tips and optional fees, expect to spend double of initial tour fees. Lastly, we ran into meal issues, carry backup bars etc.
My Husband and I took a trip this summer, the tour was good, we did not like the fact that a mandatory tip was charged, however our tour guide was good. Additionally, beware of paying for free stops on tour. DO NOT miss the maid of the mist boat tour nor the Niagara Falls Scenic In-Depth Tour. Colorful night show is free @niagra. Do not fall into the sham of paying for it. Hotel accommodations are good, but the tour bus could use some cleaning.
The tour was speedy yet relaxing. Covered ample amount of attractions that we would have never covered if done with car. Had proper gaps of breaks for lunch/dinner and snacks. Hotels were good. The morning time to arrive at the bus was rushed because we always felt we got lesser sleep but hey, you have come for a trip, not for sleeping.
Lay was an excellent tour guide and went above and beyond to drop us to 1 block from our AirBnb location. Very accommodative and always approachable. Overall, a fabulous experience. We will be coming for more!
