After the continental breakfast in the morning, This morning, return to “BeanTown" for a Whale Watch Cruise of Stellwagen BankMarine Sanctuary. In the afternoon, we will head west towards the Berkshires, a rural region in the mountains of western Massachusetts, where a stop is made in the picturesque Stockbridge, a picture-perfect example of small-town New England. Then we will proceed to Albany, the capital city of New York State for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, we will drive straight west through upstate New York to Niagara Falls, one of the seven natural wonders of the world. Upon arrival we will enjoy a lunch overlooking the falls in the meantime. Then we will experience the Maid of the Mist cruise to the foot of the Horseshoe Falls (weather permitting, otherwise explore the Scenic Tunnels behind the falls instead). Evening at leisure.

After breakfast, we will depart through the Pennsylvania en route to Washington, D.C in the early morning. If time permitting, a stop will be made at the Amish market. The Amish preserve the elements of late 17th-century European rural culture. Then we will arrive in the suburbs of Washington in the early evening. Evening at leisure.

Today we will tour the city of Washington DC. In the morning, we will see sights such as the White House, Washington Monument, Arlington National Cemetery and the US Capitol. In the afternoon, we will be free to explore the Smithsonian Museums at our own leisure, such as the National Air and Space Museum.

  • If you would like to join the optional activities, please pay the fee in cash to the tour guide. You cannot buy / use the tickets on your own or use City Passes. The tour guide will arrange the tickets for the group.
  • Prices do not include air travel, country entry or departure fees, airport porter fees, visas, phones, valet, all items of a personal nature and beverages and food unless otherwise stated.
  • Tips to the Tour Director and Driver (Suggested: Drivers: $4 - $6 per person per day; Guides: $4 - $6 per person per day).
  • The Extra fees can be paid directly to the tour guide in cash, credit card or travelers check in USD. The extra costs, i.e. the optional excursions are only payable if the passengers choose to join one or more of those.

  • Some hotels may offer complimentary breakfast to all hotel guests which is reflected in the breakfast surcharge. No refunds can be given for such complimentary meals.

Confirmation

  • Immediately after submitting your reservation you will receive a receipt of booking by email. Within 72 hours of submitting your reservation you will receive a confirmation email confirming the booking status. Departures can only be guaranteed 45 days prior to the departure date (a minimum number of passengers is required to operate the tour). We are not responsible for any cancellation/change fees for flight tickets.

Redemption

  • You will receive an email (e-ticket) after your order was received. Complete Operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, are included on your e-ticket. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

    The purchase of any travel services represents your acceptance Terms & Conditions set out herein. Please ensure that you read carefully and understand these Terms & Conditions prior to booking.
  • Booking changes
    A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply.
  • Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
    Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to Taketours by email or through web mail at Contact Us.
  • Cancellation penalties per person as follows:(Notification day and departure day are not counted)
    Up to 16 days prior to departure - 10% of total purchase amount
    2-15 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
    1 day prior - Day of departure or no show - 100% per person.
    Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
    The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
  • Itinerary Variations
    We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
  • Tour Cancellation:
    We reserve the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure of the tour, Taketours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or a similar tour. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.
    We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.
