Located on the island of O'ahu in the Hawaiian capital of Honolulu, this massive volcanic formation is truly a sight to behold. From ground to summit is a 0.8-mile hike, so be sure to wear comfortable shoes and come prepared with plenty of water. The crater is a 475-acre indentation that sits over 750 feet in the air, and from its peak tourists can view miles of pristine coastline as well as man-made installations such as lighthouses.
