Travel to Hanauma Bay

Both a bathing beach and a nature preserve, the Hanauma Bay area is one of Oahu's most popular tourist spots. While actually touching the local animals is illegal, you can still get closer to them than almost anywhere else! The area has suffered a lot from tourism over the past few decades, and local governments have made increasingly strong efforts to preserve the reefs and sealife. Guests can swim and sunbathe, but may not touch coral or turtles.
