Travel to Independence Hall
This iconic building was the meetingplace of the Second Continental Congress from 1775 to 1783 and played a key role in the American Revolution. Both the Declaration of Independence and the United States Constitution were developed here, and the location is considered a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
Visitors to Independence Hall can join guided tours for free, although the tours do require a reservation. Tours run from March through December, and printed materials are available in 8 languages.
