Around 6:45am, guests will be picked up from their hotels in the area of Phoenix and Scottsdale. After pickup, we will drive into the heart of the Verde Valley, which was recently named a Top 10 travel destination by Lonely Planet. Our first stop will be the historic mining town of Jerome, which is known as the largest ghost town in the United States. After that, we will enjoy incredible art exhibits at the Copper Art Museum located in Clarkdale. From there, we will travel to the Verde Canyon Railroad to learn about the history of train travel in the area.

    Jerome is a town in the Black Hills of Yavapai County in the State of Arizona. Founded in the late 19th century on Cleopatra Hill overlooking the Verde Valley, it is more than 5,000 feet (1,500 m) above sea level.

  • Clarkdale, AZ

    Clarkdale is a town in Yavapai County, Arizona, United States. The Verde River flows through the town as does Bitter Creek, an intermittent tributary of the river. Clarkdale, formerly a mining town, is now largely a retirement community with an eye for the arts.

    Copper Art Museum

    The Copper Art Museum is a new museum with roots that can be traced back to 1919, where an antique shop was located in Northern Minnesota. Showcase copper artifacts with an emphasis on American and European works-of-art from the 16th to the 21st century.
  • Pick up from most hotels in the Phoenix, Scottsdale, Mesa and Tempe area.
  • Departure Time: Approximately 6:45am
  • Return Time: Approximately 7:00pm
