Dresden, GERMANY
Dresden has a long history as the capital and royal residence for the Electors and Kings of Saxony, who for centuries furnished the city with cultural and artistic splendor, and was once by personal union the family seat of Polish monarchs. The city was known as the Jewel Box, because of its baroque and rococo city centre.
Frauenkirche
Originally built in the 18th century, this Baroque church was destroyed during the firebombing of Dresden during World War II. For 50 years, the ruins stood as a war memorial before the building was finally reconstructed in 1994.
The Procession of Princes
The Procession of Princes is located on the outside of the Stallhof, on Schlossplatz Square. The 101-meter-long mural represents the history of the Wettins, Saxony’s ruling family, as a larger-than-life procession of riders.
Dresden Castle (Outside Visit)
Dresden castle is named for the City of Dresden as the capital city in the German state of Saxony, and well as its regal, commanding and almost “Castle like” neo-gothic architecture.
Bruhl's Terrace
The Bruhl Terrace is also affectionately known as the "Balcony of Europe". It is a popular, historical viewing platform in the old town of Dresden with a great view of the river Elbe.

Depart in the morning for Germany's capital Berlin. Upon arrival, begin a sightseeing tour of historical landmarksthat showcase Berlin's rich cultural and architectural heritage. This television tower in Berlin, built in 1969, is one of the most iconic features of the city's skyline. During the 2006 FIFA World Cup, the dome at the top was painted to resemble a soccer ball.

From 1961 to 1989, this wall divided Berlin in two and came to symbolize the division between East and West Germany during the Cold War.
Checkpoint Charlie

Street of 17 June
The broad boulevard bisecting Tiergarten was named Street of 17 June in honour of the victims of the bloodily quashed 1953 workers' uprising in East Berlin. It is a tree-lined avenue through central Berlin. Continuing Unter den Linden, it connects several of the city's main attractions.
Victory Column
Berlinâs most famous and popular tourist spot. It is another of Berlin's monuments that has reinvented itself through the ages. The 67m high symbol of victory originally stood in front of the Reichstag in the former Königsplatz and today's Platz der Republik. The 8.3m tall statue on the top of the column represents both Victoria, the Goddess of Victory and Borussia the allegory and Latin name of Prussia.
Reichstagsgebaude
Located in Berlin, Reichstagsgebaude, also known as the the Reichstag building, houses the German parliament (the Bundestag). Constructed 1894, the building has historical significance through the Nazi period, Cold War, and Reunification of Germany. Notable include its river front views and glass dome architectural feature.
Brandenburg Gate
One of the best landmarks in Germany, Brandenburg Gate was built as a triumphal arch in the neoclassical style, completed in 1790. During the Cold War, the gate was closed, disallowing passage between East and West Berlin.

Swiebodzin, POLAND
Swiebodzin is a very interesting place to visit both for leisure travelers and businessmen. The town’s close proximity to Rzepin Forest, Lubusz Lakeland and Gryzynski and Pszczewski landscape parks makes Swiebodzin a great place to rest and relax in, and its location at the crossroads of trunk roads no. 2 and 3 provides good transport for those travelling across western Poland.
Christ the King Statue
This figure presents Jesus Christ as King of the Universe. The reinforced concrete sculpture is 36 meters high, of which 33 meters is for the figure of Jesus, and 3 meters for the gilded crown crowning the monument. It is the tallest statue of Jesus in the world.

Warsaw’s royal castle, appropriately stationed in Castle Square, was first built in 1619, but sadly, it was burned and looted by invading Nazi forces in World War II. The rebuilding process began in 1971.
Old Town Market Place
The center and oldest part of old town Warsaw, this market place is still, to this day, a bustling location where visitors can find all sorts of locally grown foods and hand-crafted products.
Mermaid Statue
The mermaid is the symbol of Warsaw, even appearing on the city's crest. There is a prominent statue of a mermaid in the center of the Old Town, a popular tourist attraction.
Maria Skłodowska-Curie Museum
Named after the two-time Nobel laureate, this museum is the only one in the world dedicated to the discoverer of polonium and radium, containing both permanent and periodic special exhibits.
Presidential Palace (Outside Visit)
Presidential Palace is one of Warsaw’s most famous landmarks. Its construction began in 1643 and has been the home of royal and aristocratic families for generations. Since 1994, the palace has been the residence of Poland's presidents.
Holy Cross Church
Not so much to admire the fine baroque altarpieces that miraculously survived the 1944 Warsaw Rising reprisals, but to pay homage at the second pillar on the left side of the nave. Adorned with an epitaph to Frédéric Chopin, the pillar enshrines a jar that contains the composer’s heart.
Nicolaus Copernicus Monument
The statue made of bronze was unveiled in 1853. It presents Nicolaus Copernicus in an academic robe holding an astrolabe in his left hand and pointing at the sky with his right.
Its granite plinth holds a Latin inscription which reads: ‘Nicolaus Copernicus, from Torun, moved the Earth and stopped the Sun and the Sky’. A small well decorated with a dolphin head from which water bursts enriches the basis of the plinth.
Palace of Culture and Science
As notable high-rise in Warsaw this building stands at 237 meters high, making it the tallest building in Poland. It's a gift from the Soviet Union to Poland

St. Mary's Basilica
This large, Gothic brick cathedral is one of the major attractions in old town Krakow. The most prominent idiosyncrasy of its architecture is the measurements of its towers: one is noticeably taller than the other.
Main Square
The Main Square is the centerpiece of old town Krakow, home to some of the city's oldest, most important, and most visited buildings. Built in the 13th century, it is the oldest medieval town square in Europe.
Cloth Hall
Considered the world's oldest shopping mall, the present Renaissance structure dates from 1555 and features in its interior many food stalls and small shops.
Town Hall Tower
Built of stone and brick at the end of the 13th century, the Town Hall Tower stands 75-meters high overlooking the Main Market Square. Over time, it has become one of the most popular tourist attractions in town.
St. Adalbert's Church
The Church of St. Adalbert in Krakow is the oldest church in the city. It was founded about the 11th century and replaced the previous one made of timber. It remains a living church where Krakow's faithful go to pray, and is one of the best places to listen to live classical music in Krakow.

Begin the day with a visit to the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum, starting with an exterior view of Auschwitz II-Birkenau. Then proceed to Auschwitz I, where an optional guided tour (own expense) offers an in-depth exploration. Walk through the infamous "Arbeit Macht Frei" gate. After reflecting on this poignant history, continue the journey across the border to Brno. In the Freedom Square, admire the iconic Plague Column and fountain, while nearby, the Capuchin Crypt near the bustling Cabbage Market offers a unique cultural experience. Surrounding the square are various restaurants and cafes, perfect for enjoying a coffee and immersing yourself in the daily life of locals.

Freedom Square
Brno's Freedom Square, or "Namesti Svobody" in Czech, was once the historic city center. In the square, visitors will find the plague column, a memorial to those killed by the Black Death in the Middle Ages.
Capuchin Monastery
Not an attraction for the squeamish, the Capuchin Monastery in Brno is famous for housing a crypt, the final resting place of the monks who once lived there, that is complete with incredibly well-preserved mummies.
