Day 1: Prague

Upon your airport of arrival, the tour guide will be waiting for taking you to your hotel.  Check the information boards in the hotel reception area for details of the welcome meeting with your guide and fellow travelers. In the evening we include a transfer to the Old Town Square. You can take your dinner at one of the restaurants offering international cuisines, including Czech, Chinese, Indian and Italian. Afterwards we will return to hotel.

Day 2: Prague

Today we will have a guided city tour, which will include the most outstanding monuments. During the visit we will walk through Prague Castle, take a magnificent boat tour along Vltava River. Free time in the afternoon to explore Prague.

Day 3: Prague-Pilsen-Rothenburg-Frankfurt (446 km)

We will have an early departure from Prague and stop in Pilsen, in the region of West Bohemia, a city renowned for its beer. Time for a walk through its historic center where we find the Great Square, the cathedral, the Plague Column and a Renaissance-era town hall. We will then cross into Germany where we will follow a section of the so-called ¨Romantic Route¨. Next, we will visit Rothemburg, a town that seems to come straight out of a fairy tale, and is considered to be one of the most beautiful villages in the country. Afterwards, we will head to Frankfurt. Arrival in the financial capital of Germany in late-afternoon. Free time in the historic city center where there is a wide variety of restaurants to choose from (from Indian cuisine to Oriental, Italian, international and so on).

Day 4: Frankfurt-Cologne-Amsterdam (366 km)

Today we will take a small Cruise on the Rhine, between the villages of RUDESHEIM and ST. GOAR, undoubtedly the river’s most picturesque section. After this we will travel to COLOGNE, a city which stands out for its immense gothic cathedral. Then on to the Netherlands. Arriving to AMSTERDAM in the late afternoon.

Day 5: Amsterdam - Zaanse Schans - Volendam - Marken - Amsterdam (66 km)

Today we will go to Zaanse Schans with its mills, its canals and its typical houses. Then we will arrive in Volendam, a very picturesque fishing village. From Volendam, on a short boat trip we will go to Marken, an island that was united to the mainland by a fixed dike, their houses were built on stilts. In the afternoon we will include a panoramic tour of Amsterdam to see its narrow canals, its official buildings and parks, and will also see the technique of diamond cutting. A large part of the visit will be done on foot. The information will be given through headphones.  At the end of the day we will be taken to Rembrandtplein, one of the busiest squares in the city with plenty of restaurants from all corners of the world.

    A major square in central Amsterdam. By the early twentieth century, the square developed into a centre for nightlife drawing artists, young people and laborers. To serve these visitors, several hotels, cafes and entertainment venues opened in the adjoining streets. The area continues to be popular with residents and tourists.

Day 6: Amsterdam - Bruges - Paris (441 km)

We will leave for Bruges, a charming medieval city known as the "Venice of the North" due to its picturesque canals. Its atmosphere is magical with cobblestone streets, historic buildings and romantic bridges. You can, if you wish, climb the Belfort, with its impressive views. Shall we try Belgian chocolate? Or do you prefer your typical craft beer? We will continue to Paris

Day 7: Paris-Versailles-Paris (34 km)

We come into contact with the history of France in the immense Palace of Versailles (admission not included) with its beautiful gardens. After that, on our way back to Paris, we head to Montmartre, and take a cable car (included) to go up to this bohemian neighborhood known for its painters, artists and cabarets. To contemplate the beauty of the impressive avenues and monuments of Paris, you will have the city tour with a local guide. Return to the hotel. Optionally you can attend the variety show.​

    The famous Moulin Rouge - where the hit musical movie got its name - was founded in 1889, and is credited with popularizing cabaret performances and the can-can dance. It is marked by the red windmill on the roof.

Day 8: Paris

We will have a scenic guided tour of Paris. We will have the opportunity to climb up to the second floor of Eiffel Tower and take a boat cruise along the River Seine. We will enjoy a free afternoon.

Note: Sometimes queues to climb the Eiffel Tower are long. For organizational reasons, if deemed appropriate, the climb can be made at a different moment of the day.

Redemption

  • Cancellation of Orders and Penalty
    Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to TakeTours by email or through web mail at Contact Us .
  • All cancellations or changes of date must comply with the following details: (Notification day and departure day are not counted)
    118 dollars will be charged if cancel or change within or more than 31 days before departure date (not including departure date).
    10% of total fee and 118 dollars will be charged if cancel or change within 30 days before departure date (not including departure date).
    50% of total fee and 118 dollars will be charged if cancel or change within 15 days before departure date (not including departure date).
    75% of total fee and 118 dollars will be charged if cancel or change within 7 days before departure date (not including departure date).
    Absolutely NO refund on all cancellations or postponements within 1 day prior to departure (not including departure date).
    The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
  • Itinerary Variations
    We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
  • Tour Cancellation:
    We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, TakeTours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.
