Travel to Chateau Frontenac

The Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac is a famous grand hotel and a National Historic Site of Canada. The hotel, which is essentially a castle, sits on a hilltop in the city, and is perhaps the most-photographed hotel in the world. It was built in 1893 and initially meant to accommodate tourists for the 1893 World's Fair. However, it was not completed in time. The hotel is emblematic of Quebec City and dominated its skyline.
