Travel to Montmorency Falls
Named by Samuel de Champlain in the early seventeenth century, the Montmorency Falls stand 98 feet higher than Niagara, although they don't pour nearly as much water over the cliffside. They are the highest falls in Quebec and stand in Quebec City.
Several sets of stairs allow visitors to view the falls from many different angles, and for those who can't make the climb, there is also a cable car that carries people from the bottom to the peak.
