Meal: Excluded
Guests will be picked up from their hotels in Quito around 8:00am. After meeting with the guide, we will head south towards Cotopaxi National Park. On the way, we will take in beautiful views of the Andes Mountains and the gorgeous natural scenery. Once we arrive at the park, we will visit the Interpretation Center and Limpiopungo Lagoon before setting off on a short hike through Limpiopungo Valley. Then, we will drive to the Padre Rivas Refuge, where we can try to reach the nearby glacier, or simply stay in the refuge. We will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before returning to Quito, where the tour will end.

    A protected area in Ecuador. The Cotopaxi volcano that lends its name to the park is located within its boundaries. Cotopaxi is among the highest active volcanoes in the world; its last significant eruption took place in 1904.
  • Pickup is available from hotels/hostels in Quito at 8:00am. Times are subject to change due to local traffic conditions.
