Day 1: Reykjavik - Hvolsvollur - Vik Town - Jokulsarlon Glacier Lake (320 km)

Depart from Reykjavik, we will head to the Hvolsvollur Village for a rest. Then we will head to the Skoga Falls. Here we can walk from the parking lot to the waterfall (about 3 minutes walk) and take a close look at the Skoga Falls. Then we will arrive in the Vik Town where we can enjoy lunch and visit the Black Beach nearby. In the afternoon we will come to the Jokulsarlon Glacier Lake for a view of Vatna Glacier and also take a boat in summer. After that we will take a hotel shuttle back to hotel. In winter, the location of the hotel will be an ideal spot for the Northern Lights if weather permits.
  • Hvolsvollur, ICELAND

    A small town in the south of Iceland about 106 km to the east of Reykjavík. It is situated in the inland swamps of Landeyjar, in the municipality of Rangárþing eystra.
  • Skogar, ICELAND

    A small Icelandic village with a population of roughly 25 located at the south of the Eyjafjallajokull glacier. The area is known for its waterfall, Skogafoss. This town was highly affected by the eruption of the Eyjafjalla volcano in 2010.

    Jokulsarlon, ICELAND
    A large glacial lake in southeast Iceland, on the edge of Vatnajokull National Park. Situated at the head of the Breioamerkurjokull glacier, it developed into a lake after the glacier started receding from the edge of the Atlantic Ocean.

Day 2: Vatna Glacier National Park - Jokulsarlon - Vik - Reykjavik (356 km)

Meal: Excluded
After breakfast in the hotel, we will head to visit the Vatna Glacier National Park. Then we will have some free time at the hotel or nearby. Afterwards we will take the hotel shuttle bus to the Jokulsarlon Glacier Lake and visit on your own. Then we will come to the Vik seaside Village and enjoy dinner. Next, we will continue to the Seria Yalan Waterfall. In the evening we will return back to Reykjavik.

We will try to re-book the same or similar tour..
