In the morning, guests will be picked up in Seville to begin this tour. Once we arrive in Cordoba, we will go on a sightseeing tour of the city's best sights, beginning with the Alcazar of the Catholic Kings. Then, we will visit the Mosque-Cathedral before heading to the marvelous Jewish Quarter. Here, we will see the most famous pedestrian streets in the city, lined with shops and full of life. These streets will lead us to Maimonides Square, where we will find the secluded Cordoba Synagogue. Afterwards, the guided tour will finish, and we will then have some free time to explore the city at our own leisure. At the end of the day, we will make the journey back to Seville, where the tour will come to an end. Please see "Departure and Return" for more detailed information regarding pickup and drop-off times and locations.
  • Cordoba, SPAIN

    Cordoba, SPAIN
Cordoba is a city in Andalusia, Spain, and the capital of the province of Cordoba. The city is located on the banks of the Guadalquivir river, and its easy access to the mining resources of the Sierra Morena satisfies the population's needs.

    Alcazar

The Alcazar de los Reyes Cristianos, also known as the Alcazar of Cordoba, is a medieval Alcazar located in the historic centre of Cordoba, Spain next to the Guadalquivir River and near the Grand Mosque.

    Jewish Quarter

Cordoba's Jewish Quarter is marked by narrow and irregular streets. It houses a medieval Synagogue and the Sephardic House. Unfortunately, this neighborhood was a focal point of the Spanish Inquisition, during which Cordoba played a large role.

    Cordoba Synagogue

Cordoba Synagogue is a historic edifice in the Jewish Quarter of Cordoba, Spain built in 1315. The synagogue was built in Mudejar style by architects led by Isaac Moheb.

    The Mosque-Cathedral of Cordoba

The interior of this dual mosque-cathedral perfectly reflects the religious power-struggle of medieval Spain. The conversion of the church into a mosque lasted from 784 to 987. The complex is massive and features many small chapels.

    Maimonides Square

Named after a prominent Jewish philosopher from 12th century Cordoba, this square is in the heart of the city's Jewish Quarter at the intersection of three streets. It used to be called the Plaza of the Bulls.
