Su Zhou is located near the east shore of lake Taihu where the Grand Canal joins the Yangtze River. It is surrounded by more than 20 lakes and is called “Venice of China”. It was once the capital of the State of Wu during the late Autumn & Spring Period more than 2500 years ago. Su Zhou is a place of great beauty. It has been known since ancient times together with Hang Zhou as “the paradise on the earth”. Within this trip, you will be led to the Tiger Hill, Silk factory, Hanshan Temple, Embroidery Research Institute, The Humble Administrators Garden and the Old City Gate.

    Master of Nets Garden

    The Master of Nets Garden is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a must-visit for those exploring Suzhou's heritage.. Built during the Southern Song Dynasty and later restored in the Qing Dynasty, it exemplifies the refined aesthetics of Suzhou's garden art. The garden features delicate pavilions, serene ponds, rockeries, and lush greenery, creating a miniature landscape that reflects the poetic beauty of traditional Chinese culture.

    Panmen

    Panmen is a historic site featuring a 2,500-year-old city gate with both land and water passages. It includes the ancient Ruiguang Pagoda and offers views of the Grand Canal, showcasing Suzhou's rich history and architectural brilliance.

    Suzhou Museum

    The Suzhou Museum, designed by renowned architect I.M. Pei, blends modern aesthetics with traditional Suzhou style. Located in the historic heart of Suzhou, it showcases ancient Chinese art, calligraphy, and artifacts.
