Solvang, a town near Santa Barbara, California was established by a group of Danish settlers, and it still contains that charm in its style of architecture. Visit the Denmark Village and Mission Santa Ines.
This is overall good trip. In SF trip, the silicon valley covered in itinerary but not covered in actual trip and the hotel booking can be done based on community. Recommend for ones on tight schedule.
I joined in the 3-day San Francisco alone. The tour was full of attractions. Thanks to the experienced tour guide, Dorit, I enjoyed very much. She had a lot of knowledge about each sightseeing spot. And she always payed attention to each guest to be able to enjoy and be comfortable. She was a good photographer, too. She took each guest's picture at good photo spots. I respect her as a professional tour guide. The drive, Sam was perfect. I felt safe and comfortable all the way. The price of the tour was reasonable. I want to join other tours with Dorit and Sam again.
Excelente tour, muy buena relación precio-calidad; muy buena atención de nuestra traductora Brenda, siempre atenta a nuestras necesidades y nuestra guía Dorit. Minibus cómodo, buenos hoteles y paseo relajado y agradable.
We have had a great tour with many attractions. Along the beautiful coast between LA and SF, interesting places in San Francisco and finally the breathtaking nature of the Yosemite Park. We would like to thank you for our excellent tour guide, Michael Hansel. He guided us individually and professionally through the whole tour and also helped generously in an emergency situation.

Hello everyone Firstly my thanks to TakeTours for such a great job in a cheap tour. We had a great time. The hotels were good and they tried to take us to as many places as possible. Trip to Las Vegas with the tour guide, Candy, was the awesome part. She was amazing. Very helpful and took all of the group together. The other guides were fine too. Ming and Che were good. We visited Las Angeles, San Diego, Las Vegas, Grand Canyon and San Francisco. The trip to Yosemite was awesome. It’s beautiful places, from homes to diverse plants and waterfalls. You will love it. Saying all this, I will like to give few suggestions. These trips mostly have Chinese people and the guides speak Chinese mostly which is bit confusing for others. They made reservation at Chinese hotel in Chinatown. I just wanted to suggest that please make reservations according to interest of people. We hardly got any place to eat because it was all Chinese food. Secondly the trip to San Francisco should be for 3-4 days. As two days are just to travel and it made me sad when we didn’t even have an hour to stay at Golden Gate Bridge and didn’t even fully get to explore the city. If one can come so far, it wouldn’t harm to stay a little longer at this beautiful city. We got only half hour at Lombard Street, which is kind of sad too. If the stay was for 3-4 days, we could have chance to visit the city by our own too. Over all good job. :)
The tour was well organized and exactly how it has been described. No hidden or extra cost and is same as considered as excluded fees for optional attractions. Some days were hectic and some were comparably relaxed. The tour guides- Ming and Eric, were very good and helpful. Solvang village tour is only during the summer. Overall a very good experience and if you want to see the West Coast in short time.
I just finished my tour. It's a awesome experience, I wish the tour could last longer. I had so much fun, and both of my tour guides are great. They always made sure everyone is back on the bus and fully guided us. If anyone has any issue, they will always tried their best to help everyone out. The best part is their knowledge, I learned so much history in the last few days
Excellent experience. The tour was very organized. The guide worked hard to ensure that no one was left behind and the itinerary was not disturbed. Angela is a very good tour guide.
Tour guide was very average. Mostly speaking in Chinese and wasn't able to communicate/ express herself on the different places we visited. Accommodation was provided in Crowne Plaza and was really good. I am rating 4 only because, there was no drinking water provided (I could find only ice cubes outside) Transportation was good too. Driver & tour guides were friendly. Itinerary was congested - a lot of places were put in together and not much of time to spend. Tour guide gave very minimum time to see the places. By the time we tried to find restrooms to freshen up, very little was available to catch up with the places. For someone who is traveling with kids, it's a nightmare to catch up with their time. Solvang market and 17 mile ride were good. It would have been better to provide a minimum time of 1 and half hours in Solvang market to see the places around and take some pictures. Rather, we were told to go and get some sweets from Danish Bakery and get some food to eat. There were a lot of better things to see around in Solvang. We arrived to Crowne Plaza by 9:30PM, were asleep by 11:30PM, and woke up the next morning by 5:00AM to catch the bus at 6:00AM. Straight to University of California Berkely and there was nothing much there. Just went inside UC and could take a couple of pictures there. I would say remove UC from itinerary, nothing much to see there. It would be good to keep this in itinerary if there is a museum or something to visit. Morning break fast we had only half an hour time, by the time we figured out a pharmacy, 25 minutes were gone and had to get a sandwich from a liquor store. We went to taste the wine later in Napa Valley (but we never reached there, they stopped in between someplace called Cline Vineyard) , was thinking to see the vineyward , but could find only 5 glasses of wine to taste and had a little bit of time to see around. You could get 15% off on wines if you buy from there, i.e. something which anyone could expect to get from any vineyards. Back to Fisherman's Wharf, caught up with some good burgers for lunch (spicy fried fish burger and was really good ). By 1:10PM, in the burning sun we went for a Bay cruise. This item if pushed as an evening tour, it would be a little relaxing as well as given a little more pleasant experience to see the marvelous Golden Gate Bridge. After the cruise, we were dropped near Chinatown as we opted out of the extensive tour of SFO city and had to wait for another 4 and half hours for them to return. We roamed around the city a little bit and had a good dinner too. If someone wanted to return back to the hotel , they would have to pay at least $80 - $100 to reach Crowne Plaza in Union City. Next day we got up at 4:00AM, and started from the hotel by 5:15AM heading to Yosemite Valley. The drive to Yosemite was scenic, but because of all the curves, kids and some adults will have tendency to vomit. So be prepared and carry some extra covers , a lot of tissues, and also clothes for kids :) . Spent about 1 hour there, and was good. My personal opinion about the trip is okay, and it’s like a rapid fire round. If you just want to cover as many places in short time , it’s the best choice, or else don’t go for it.
