Overview

Today, we travel from Toronto to Kingston, where we will visit Queen's University, the city's old fortifications, the old congress building and many more historic locations. After a short break, we will have the option of taking a cruise on the St. Lawrence River to learn about more of Kingston's history, like the sunken ships off its shores and more. We will also visit the Royal Canadian Military Academy and the old prison. In the afternoon, we will attend the annual lavender festival in Prince Edward County, where we will have the chance to take part in an endless array of activities!

Kingston, ON

Located midway between Toronto and Montreal, Kingston was named the first capital of the Province of Canada. Kingston is a city rich in history, culture, critically acclaimed attractions and cuisine.

Queen's Universtiy

Queen's University is a large public research institution in Kingston, Ontario. One of the oldest universities in the country, it actually predates the establishment of Canada as an independent country.
Thousand Islands, ON

An international tourism destination situated between Canada and the United States along the St. Lawrence River. The region takes its name from the more than 1,000 islands that dot the lakes and rivers along this international waterway.

Thousand Islands Cruise

The 1,864 scattered across the United States-Canada border in the St. Lawrence River were once an ideal location for bootleggers to sneak alcohol into the prohibition-era US from Canada. Today it is an area of beauty and history.

If you would like to join the optional activities, please pay the fee in cash to the tour guide. You cannot buy / use the tickets on your own or use City Passes. The tour guide will arrange the tickets for the group.

Airport transfer driver service fee: CAD$8 per person per time.

Confirmation

Upon submitting your reservation, you will immediately receive a booking receipt via email. Within 2 to 3 business days, you will receive a confirmation email with the booking status.
Please wait for this confirmation before booking any airline tickets.

Redemption

You will receive a confirmation email (e-ticket) after your order is confirmed, which will include operator information, including local phone numbers at your destination. Please ensure you have the e-tickets with you as proof of purchase.

Terms & Condition

All purchases are subject to re-confirmation within 2-3 business days after booking. Please wait for confirmation before booking your airline tickets.
Cancellation and Refund policy: (Notification day and departure day are not counted)
- Cancellations received 14 or more days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
- Cancellations received within 14 days of departure will incur a penalty of 100% per person.
- Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
*The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.

- Prices may vary subject to availability/season/weekend/holiday.
- We reserve the right to cancel a scheduled trip and fully refund affected customers, though we will make every effort to maintain regular operations.
- We reserve the right to modify the tour arrangements for smooth operation of the tour.
