In the morning, we will depart from Vancouver. Along the Fize Valley Highway, we will visit Merritt Town on the way. Then we will stop by the VQA Wine Shop and try Canadian ice wine. We will then contiue on to Vernon, BC to spend time at the Kalamalka Lake before making our way to Revelstoke for the night.

Today, we will visit Glacier National Park, then pass by Yoho National Park and into Banff National Park. Afterwards we wil come to visit the Lake Louise and Moraine Lake. Then we will arrive in Alberta to visit Banff, where we will visit the Bow Falls. You can take the Gondola at your own expenses to the top of Sulphur Mountain to enjoy breathtaking views from the summit. Spend free time in downtown Banff exploring shops and dining options. We will spend the night in Banff.

Banff - Jasper National Park - Columbia Icefield - Jasper (250 km)

Today, we will pass Bow Lake and travel to the Columbia Icefield in Jasper National Park, where we will ride the Ice Explorer along the surface of the Athabasca Glacier and visit the Glacier Skywalk observation tower. Finally, we will head to the Athabasca Falls.

In the morning, we will head to Maligne Lake. To enhance the experience and explore the world-famous Spirit Island , which is only accessible by cruise, we will take the Maligne Lake Cruise (optional surcharge) in Jasper. Then head to Maligne Canyon and Peyto Lake. On the way back, we'll relax in peace at the Saskatchewan River Crossing for a short rest.

Saskatchewan River Crossing
The Saskatchewan River Crossing is an interesting place to stop for a short rest as you are driving near the junction of Banff National Park and the Icefields Parkway. This place was actually named âThe Crossingâ because back in the 19th century, travelers and fur traders would use this spot to cross the North Saskatchewan River on their way to the beautiful province of British Columbia.

Peyto Lake
Peyto Lake in Alberta, Canada's Banff National Park is known for its stunning aqua-blue coloration. It can be best seen from a viewing point just off the Icefield Parkway; this is considered one of the best views in Canada.
Once closed, it will be replaced by Waterfowl Lake.

Due to the limited resources in the Rocky Mountains, it may be difficult to secure bookings on the day of your trip. Some activities, especially the Columbia Icefield Skywalk and the Ice Explorer tour, could significantly enhance your experience, and missing them might make your trip less fulfilling.
