Day 1: Vancouver - Kelowna - Okanagan - Salmon Arm/Vernon (543 km)

We will begin our journey by driving along the Trans-Canada Highway, heading east to Kelowna, the heart of the Okanagan Valley. In the area, we will visit a renowned winery to learn the basics of the wine-making process and sample some of the flavors they produce. We will also see Lake Okanagan. We will spend the night in either Salmon Arm or Vernon.

Day 2: Salmon Arm/Revelstoke - Banff National Park - Gondola - Bow Falls - Town of Banff (295 km)

Arrive at Banff via Rogers Pass, Yoho National Park, and Spiral Tunnel. An eye-opening Gondola Ride will captivate you with the majestic views of the Rocky Mountains. Passing by Vermilion Lakes, visit Bow Falls. Stroll along Banff Avenue where you will find art galleries and boutique shops or join optional activities such as hot springs, Banff night tours, hot springs, Banff ghost walk, etc.

    Banff Gondola

    This unique cable-car ride takes visitors to Alberta, Canada's Banff National Park to the top of Sulphur Mountain, a UNESCO World Hertitage Site. Atop the mountain there are many viewing areas, a long boardwalk, and two small museums.

    Banff Gondola will be closed for maintenance from Jan 5 -17, 2020.

Day 4: Golden/Valemount - Kamloops - Vancouver (600 km)

We will proceed to Eagle Pass and visit the Last Spike of the Canadian Pacific Railway. Next we will head west to Kamloops to visit the only GMP certified Ginseng factory. We will return to Vancouver in the late afternoon.

Additional Note

  • During Christmas Time (Dec 21-31,2019), lunch at Chateau Lake Louise is not available, substitute restaurant will be arranged.
  • Outdoor activities are seasonal and subject to weather conditions. The Sulphur Mountain Hotsprings will have a fare of approx. $5 for the hotsprings accessories (towel, locker and swimwear).
  • $50/person deposit will be required for snowshoes rental, and it will be refunded when snowshoes are returned without any damage.
  • Booking: Please book airline tickets after your tour booking is confirmed, tour booking will be confirmed within 1-2 business days.
  • Luggage: Limited to one medium suitcase & one carry-on luggage per person.
  • Language: All tours are escorted by professional bi- or multi-lingual tour and/or driver guides (Chinese/Cantonese/ English). Depending on the number of passengers booked for a particular departure, tours and/or languages may be combined to operate the tours.
  • Optional Meal Plan : Chinese style.

Confirmation

  • All purchases are subject to re-confirmation within 2-3 business days after booking, please do not book the airline tickets until your received the confirmation.

Redemption

  • You will receive a confirmation email (e-ticket) after your order is received. Complete operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, is included on your e-ticket. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

Terms & Condition

  • Cancellation penalties per person (request day and departure day are not counted)
    22-29 days prior to departure date - 50% penalty
    15-21 days prior to departure date - 75% penalty
    No refund within 14-day prior to departure date. No partial refund on any unused services.
    The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. The refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
  • Rockies hotel upgrade is non-refundable once booking confirmed.
  • Prices may vary subject to availability/season/weekend/holiday.
  • We reserve right to cancel a schedule to fully refund affected customers although we will make every effort to maintain the regular operation.
