Board the Rocky Mountaineer train at the Vancouver Station at 7:30am PT. by yourself (Please arrive at the train station at least 1 hour in advance to check in). Travel from the coastal city of Vancouver to Kamloops, in the heart of British Columbia's interior. On today's journey you will see dramatic changes in scenery, from the lush green fields of the Fraser Valley, through forests and winding river canyons surrounded by the peaks of the Coast and Cascade Mountains, to the desert-like environment of the BC Interior. Highlights include the rushing waters of Hell's Gate in the Fraser Canyon and the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River.
Your day concludes as the Rocky Mountaineer travels along the shores of Kamloops Lake into Kamloops between 6:00pm and 7:30pm PT. Spend the evening exploring the city of Kamloops or relaxing in your hotel room.

Board the Rocky Mountaineer train at the Kamloops Station at 6:25am PT, your journey continues eastwards to the mighty Canadian Rockies and the province of Alberta. Once again you will see a spectacular array of scenery as you travel across ranchlands, along rocky lakeshores, over high mountain passes and through the remarkable tunnels that form part of the rich rail history of the Canadian Rockies. Today's highlights include Craigellachie, where the last spike of the Canadian Pacific Railway was driven, the climb over Rogers Pass, Kicking Horse Canyon, the Spiral Tunnels and, of course, the glaciers and snow-capped peaks of the Canadian Rockies. Your rail journey ends this evening upon arrival in Banff, between 7:00pm and 8:30pm MT.

Sulphur Mountain
This mountain in Banff National Park is part of the Canadian Rocky Mountains. There is a gondola that takes you nearly to the summit, which is perched at 8,041 feet.

Banff Gondola

Today we will drive along the No.1 Highway and head to the Lake Louise. We can get a far view of the Castle Mountain on the half way. Then we will continue to Moraine Lake, see Ten Peaks Valleyl. After Lunch at Lake Louis, we'll pass by Spiral Tunnel and head to Yoho. Next stop is Emerald Lake.
Stop at the Natural Bridge along the way and admire the Kicking Horse River as it carves a path through ancient rock. You can hear the roar of the disappearing water churning and ejecting beneath the bridge to further reinforce the move in making this a legitimate waterfall.

Today, we will drive along Icefields Parkway. Along the way you will pass by Crowfoot Glacier. Following the visit to Bow Lake and Peyto Lake. After that, we will arrive at Columbia Icefield and experience the stunning beauty of Athabasca Glacier. To enhance the take the experience of Columbia Icefield Glacier Snow Coach and Skywalk (Mandatory fees). Finally, we will head to the Athabasca Falls the most powerful waterfalls in Jasper National Park.

Crowfoot Glacier (Passing By)
Crowfoot Glacier is located in Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada, 32 km (20 mi) northwest of Lake Louise, and can be viewed from the Icefields Parkway. The glacier is situated on the northeastern flank of Crowfoot Mountain.
Bow Lake
Bow Lake is a bright turquoise color which is due to the glacial runoff from Bow Glacier. Historical Simpson's Num-Ti-Jah is located on the shores of Bow Lake at the foot of Mount Jimmy Simpson.

Icefields Parkway
A 230 km long scenic road that parallels the Continental Divide, traversing the rugged landscape of the Canadian Rockies, travelling through Banff National Park and Jasper National Park. It is named for features such as the Columbia Icefield, visible from the parkway. It links Lake Louise with Jasper to the north. At its southern end, the Icefields Parkway terminates at Highway 1.
Athabasca Glacier (Passing By)
The Athabasca Glacier is the most-visited glacier in North America. It is one of the eight major glaciers of the Columbia Icefield. The Icefield Interpretive Centre is next to the glacier, and is where visitors can arrange tours.

Visitors to Jasper National Park in Alberta can take this exciting ride across the ice field to the Athabasca Glacier. This is a great way to see the vast tundra of Jasper.
Athabasca Falls
A powerful, picturesque waterfall, Athabasca Falls is not known so much for the height of the falls (23 metres), as it is known for its force due to the large quantity of water falling into the gorge.

Departing from Jasper hotel, we will Medicine Lake, Maligne Lake, take Maligne Lake Cruise to Spirit Island. Then we will continue to Maligne Canyon, lunch in an Star rated restaurants recommended by TripAdvisor at Jasper town. After that, we will travel south of the Icefiled Avenue, The Crossing is an interesting place to stop for a short rest. We will stop by Banff, drive back to Calgary.

Maligne Canyon
Maligne Canyon is a natural feature located in the Jasper National Park near Jasper, Alberta, Canada. Eroded out of the Palliser Formation, the canyon measures over 50 metres (160 ft) deep. Popular for sightseeing and exploration, the area contains waterfalls, stream outlets, birds and plant life.

Spirit Island Cruise
Cruise down the lovely Maligne Lake to small Spirit Island, the landmark at which you will turn around to return to your starting point.
If the Maligne Lake cruise is unavailable due to seasonal changes or weather conditions, the itinerary will be replaced with visits to Pyramid Lake and Patricia Lake. During the closure period, if there is pre-paid for the Maligne Lake Cruise, the fees will be refunded.
