Travel to Saint Mark's Basilica Venice

The Basilica Cattedrale Patriarcale di San Marco is the most famous church in Venice and is known for its unique and ornate Italo-Byzantine architecture that includes five hemispherical domes and fine patterns. It was built in the 11th century AD. The incredible opulence of the basilica quickly earned it the nickname Chiesa d'Oro, or "Church of Gold," a moniker that has stuck throughout the centuries. It sits on the Pizza de San Marco.
