Located on an island offshore from mainland Canada. Visitors can explore the Butchart Gardens, Mile Zero Monument and the Rocky Mountains. You can take a relaxing ferry ride from nearby Vancouver or Seattle.
Had fun on this tour! our driver/tour guide, Brian, was very informative. The time allotted to visit Butchart Gardens and the Parliament was just perfect, gives us enough time to enjoy the views without having to rush. Worth the trip!
Our driver/tour guide Brian spoke very good english and was very helpful and informative. Butchart Gardens were beautiful and the time allocated was good. I would have liked more time in Victoria, but you are limited to the hours in the day!
My nephew and I had a great time. The tour guide and driver Amanda was very organized and gave good information about the sites and tour schedule. The tour is geared towards Chinese travelers who speak Mandarin or Cantonese. Amanda spoke excellent English and she made sure we understood everything.
It was a blast! I was afraid because I knew I would be around of a Chinese group and It could be weird but it was amazing. I met some girls and they were really nice to me. Also the tour guide, Tony, is wonderful. I loved it.
I had a wonderful experience with Victoria day tour! We were picked up at the specified meeting point. The tour guide Chris did a great job of giving information in both English and Chinese (Cantonese, Mandarin). We had a wonderful ride on the BC ferry with spectacular views. We spent one and half hours at Butchart Gardens which was a beautiful wonderland! We then headed for lunch for an hour (drove past Victoria Chinatown) and then went to Victoria city center. I am vegetarian and did not include the meal but most people did as it was economical. There were many other food options where we stopped. I would have preferred to go straight to Victoria and had more time there to get lunch too. We spent an hour at the city center. We had a great time, despite it being very hot outside. The AC on the bus was not working at times, but Chris did his best to fix the problem. We stopped at Mile 0 and took pictures before heading back to the ferry terminal. I am so glad that I went with this tour. It is not something I could have done on my own as a visitor. Chris was a very responsible and a personable tour guide. My daughter got a bee sting and he helped me with ice. I would highly recommend this tour. Please know that it is a very long day closer 14 hours with traffic. Wear your running shoes and bring water! Also, the staff at Take Tours (Emily C) was great at answering my many questions before the tour. Thank you!
This is a very good tour, excellently organised by Taketours. I have taken from 12th June 24 to 19th June 24. Our tour guide Bob Li is very good. He explained the details very beautifully. Having worked as a scientist in ISRO, I could appreciate his explaining scientific details superficially. Overall trip is excellent. Accommodation at some places is not very good and some other places very good thus balancing it.
Overall tour good . Few suggestions. 1)lake louis only 1 hour too less .minimum 2 to 3 hours needed . 2)in ginseng factory gary guide gave us 3 hours halt wch was not required waste of time . 3)gary guide gave food halts only in chinese restaurants wch is wrong .more food variety required. 4)2 nights minimum in baff required. 5)bus cleaning not done at all like c tours do . 6)guide john and ken were good and Henry driver. 7)gary needs to pay attention to all passengers equally and explain all in detail in english too 8)food part was poor .9)food halts need to be changed . 45 mins to search restaurant and eat food was too less .had to take parcel and eat at restaurants. 10) request to consider all this points . Regards Dr ronnie Kotwal
