This Greek-temple-style building houses a massive statue of a massive president-- the real Lincoln was 6 feet, 4 inches tall-- and was dedicated in 1922. The memorial appears on the five-dollar bill and one-cent penny, and was also the location at which Martin Luther King Junior gave his famous "I Have a Dream" speech. The memorial sees more than six million visitors ever year and is open 24 hours a day with free admission.
