Travel to National Air and Space Museum
Established as the National Air Museum in 1946 by President Harry S. Truman, this testament to human ingenuity sees more than nine million visitors every year. It contains the largest collection of historic aircraft and spacecraft in the world, and almost all of the exhibited air and spacecraft are originals. It also functions are a center for research into geology and geophysics as well as planetary science. The museum is set to receive parts of the Hubble Telescope soon.
