Travel to El Capitan

This granite cliff on the north side of Yosemite Valley in Yosemite National Park is world-famous as a challenge for rock climbers. Even the many named climbing routes are notoriously tough. For those who want to take in the scenery without scaling the face of the mountain, the top can be reached by taking a hiking trail out of Yosemite Valley. The cliff stand opposite the park's Bridalveil Falls and offers a magnificent view of the cascading waters.
